Nope. When i turn on the screen this allow me to unlock with my fingerprint, without asking any pin, pattern or password.
Problem is : when i touch the screen nothing happens, fingerprint sensor will not lit. I i turn on the screen, even if turn off after, then i touch the screen and i can unlock with my fingerprint just.
Sometimes the sensor will not respond to read when i touch screen. Like i have no fingerprint sensor, like is dead, nothing happen until i turn on the screen. After this will again work as should for a while

I try to be clear.
I have the screen off. I touch the screen, fingerprint sensor will lit and will un lock my phone. But sometimes touching the screen, wich is off, will not lit the sensor and sure will not unlock. But if i turn on the screen, with power key, and wait for screen to go off than i can touch again the screen, the sensor will lit and read my fingerprint and unkock my phone. Did i make myself clear ?

You might have to do a hard reset which will delete your data.

Thanks for this but it's strange/good happened - now it works the way it should: i have google drive with its own PDFs and android documents with my downloaded pdfs! i hope it will stay that way for good...end of this case ...

We've had the super-duper high end Sleep Number bed; the super-duper high end Tempurpedic bed (we'll never buy another split king mattress); and we tried Casper but it was just mushy. The mattress industry doesn't make it easy to find the best bed, either.

So many Android phones are organized a little differently in settings. If you can't find it as @Dannydet said then you can search in your setting with "unlock" or it may belong to other options like Biometrics and Password.

The WhatsApp app is a third-party, user installed app, it is not a pre-installed app with restricted system-level permissions. So you have full access to all user-level apps no matter if your phone is rooted or it isn't.
Simply because you can edit a file using a terminal app doesn't mean your phone is actually rooted, all it means is you're learning how much more extensive a command-line interface can be. Or in other words, editing a file with user-level permissions does not require your device to be rooted while editing a file with system-level permissions can only be done with your device is rooted.

yes but on the z fold 3 and z fold 4, you have to be on the either the front screen or you have to unfold the phone to have the wallpaper you want on that screen. you can't choose the front screen wallpaper when the phone is unfolded.

i mainly use zedge for my wallpapers.

maybe a cable going from mini usb (or type c, not sure what your phone uses) to hdmi and hook the phone up to the tv. some phones will not allow this kind of connection. the issue would be the touch screen. you can't use a bluetooth mouse as your phone is not paired with one.......unless you have a mouse that is paired, you are screwed there.

if that does not work, then your only options are to either get it fixed or get a new phone.

If you are using google account backup on both phones, would that be messy since 2 phones are doing backup to a same google account?

goggle messages is google's texting app.

yes right now both phones are logged in to the same google account. and no it won't mess up anything. smart switch will transfer data from one phone to the other. its not saving both to the cloud, its a straight up transfer. it took about 10 minutes to do. its pretty easy to do, but i had the Best Buy salesperson do it for me cuz i'm lazy and they offered to do it for me.

no you do not have to be logged in to google for smart switch. but you will have to do an extra step on your new phone which is to log in to google after the transfer. but if you stayed logged in on your old phone, the google data gets transferred over. so like i said its just an extra step if you do log out.

so fastboot commands needs adb setup. it also needs usb debugging enabled on your tablet. if it was not enabled than both adb and fastboot will not work.

On my s21 you have to select "Vivid" to get the extra controls that @ocnbrze describes. Which to my mind is self-defeating since "vivid" is horribly over-saturated and unnatural (at least to my eyes), and the white balance controls don't fix that. But give it a try, because maybe you will find it better, and it's simple to turn off if not.

I do a bit of everything for music, like buying a few CDs, also stream from Spotify, and have a load of songs that came from AllofMP3, Pirate Bay, Kazaa, Napster, etc.

If it's anything like my experience with Facebook in 2011, You can clear them all you want, but you'll get dozens more minutes later. I had like 400+ friend requests, I'd wager many of them bot accounts, back then. Since their whole 2FA crap began, I can no longer log in to see what the current state is. It literally refuses to work, won't let me reset. Guess that's a good thing!

It had separate notification icons for likes, comments to posts, etc. It was a mess. The last login I had was on my Note 10.1 tablet in 2019, November, and with an old, outdated version. The News Feed was broken, but I could still access one page that made for great reading. Never participated much. It was just as awful though with the notifications and I had to disable all of 'em. Eventually they enforced a weird form of 2FA that doesn't work (at least, it alienated the heck outta me) and that app logged out and ceased to login again, and I can't login with a laptop either. I think it went like, to reset my password (since to them it was not secure enough--nothing like making one so convoluted that it requires putting it on a post-it note on the monitor--real secure bruh!) I had to have it send a code to my phone number, but that number no longer exists (was last on my ZTE Merit in 2011!) so I'm SOL.

Facebook did two things for me:

1. Learned what FarmVille was; got me into mobile gaming at the time

2. Most important, it's how me and my girlfriend met.

Today, it no longer has a purpose in my life. FarmVille is dead, so are many mobile games I actually liked (I got APKs of a few that still work, such as the original Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies) and the relationship with my girl is just as strong as ever so I'm not looking for another.

I thought Samsung Cloud got EOL'd? I remember a year or so ago they sent an email announcing it's end of life? It was sorta like their attempt to compete with Google Drive, and used to display as a 'folder' in the Samsung My Files app but it got replaced with a OneDrive folder since last year or so.

I've settled into the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and it's an awesome watch - it would probably be even better if I was using more of its potential. No doubt I'm using only a fraction of its capabilities, but I'm pleased nonetheless.

Where on the phone the files are could be important, but "My Files" isn't a location, it's an app. It should be able to tell you where the files are though. I don't use it because there are better file managers (true of most built-in apps), but I guess if you find one of the files, long press to select it, then look for the little 3 dot menu button one of the options will be "details" or something like that. That should tell you the "path", i.e. where in the filesystem the file is.

".txt" just means it's a plain text file, tells us nothing about the content. The "log" part in the first on suggests it's a log file from some service or whatever. Probably harmless to remove, but unless it's large it's also of little importance. One whose name is just a date can be anything, so where on the phone it is will be the only way to judge whether it is of any importance, unless you just open it up: if you click on it that will tell you whether you have any app installed that thinks it can read plain text files.
