I didn't knowingly want them.

I deleted them by selecting each and pressing [Delete].

well this is what i did and lets see in a few days. i put the tracfone sim back in the a21 tracfone and it reactivated. i sent photos and text sand calls then i was able to order the a51 and it said i got it but i have yet to get the confirmation email. that may take some time. i went to tracfone to see if it showed as a pending order but it did not. so i will wait for a few days to see if it shows up in the mail. then they told me to test something to 611611 to transfer everything over to that phone. i guess it will be in the box. so i will then transfer the data over to that a51 phone i think it will come with a new sim. then i will put the a21 back on metro for 90 days and then see if i get the text telling me i can unlock the a51 phone. if i do then i will switch it over the metro using the sim from metro and see if i then have the a21 on tracfone and the a51 on metro. i guess time will tell on this. then i will see if i can transfer my data back to the a21 and then sell that phone with all the data on it. it has like 20 years of test calls and lots of data. i do not use the phone much thanks

Mine says power saving mode which is off. Then there is adaptive battery which limits battery usage for apps that you don't use much. Nothing about default optimizations.

Can you post a screenshot of what is going on? I have never seen that on my phones before.

Mine acted up with the upgrade to Android 13 but works with the latest update.

That way I do not have to read upon the different OS or the different styles either, and I do have my apps back up, and it will be a hardship to phoenix back to the likeness of this one though

No, they are two different brands. Use them both at night to listen to stuff when I can't sleep... when the battery worn down I"d switch to another... no problem. They worked fine both being on the phone for 6 months, then one set stopped working and, as I said, I needed to re-pair them. All is fine now.

You could clear the Cache in Apps - Google Play Services.

Thanks for your reply. I never knew it was possible to clear cache for individual apps, it would appear this is the only place I can clear cache since the update! I've tried clearing cache for a few of the apps that were playing up, so we'll see if that helps at all.

The device appears to be completely up to date otherwise. By the sounds of things it may just be a case of waiting for further updates. Appreciate the reply regardless!

they just wanted the note series to match with the s series of galaxy phones. they launched the s7 series in the spring and in the fall they launched the note 7. it made an easy transition for the note and s series to eventually merge. the upcoming s22 ultra 5G was the first phone to merge both phones together.

It wouldn't be so frustrating if it would at least display the file name across the top by default when you swipe from one video to the next. I'm trying to organize HUNDREDS of motion capture clips. The names are very long, in YYYY_MM_DD-HH-MM-SS format. That's great for sorting by name, and it's also terrific that the file name tells you when the motion capture was activated. But remembering a 14-figure numeric file name, not so much. If I have to look away from what I'm doing for any reason, good luck remembering where I was in a gallery folder of 500 thumbnails.

if you use less than 15 views, use Linear layout and keep the stack less than 6, I don't really have any problems, use more than 15 views with Constraint Layout and it can become a nightmare, changing id and moving views.
I have been trying to build a grid of buttons (45) (till app)
but i need the user to add them and edit the text, size for each button.
First I looked at grid view, you can change the element size(every tile has to be the same size) that's no good to me. Second I tried Constraint Layout but I need the user to make some tiles(buttons) gone, and the rest auto resize to take up any available space, can't see this working with a grid of views(sure it would great with 10 views with Barrier(as this would add 9 more Barrier.views with more id's to keep track of)
so I can't see this working with 45 buttons.
Linear Layout gives you all the control you would ever need with weights but its heavy on system resources(well that's the warning say)

Is Linear Layout my best option?

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions, but I finally solved the problem --

I had rebooted the phone, I have no idea if I am using a custom launcher like nova? or samsung's OneUI?

I kept playing around with it,,and finally under widgets I found the setting that let me see the numbers again. I think it was the app icon badges one. But I didn't change it to start with, so no idea how it got changed, as I never even click on widgets. The only place I could find app icon badges was in the widgets thing

It seems to me they'd all be exhausted from assembling cheap gadgets to sell us to have much energy left for that sort of thing... perhaps @mikedt can illuminate whether some extra-fertile people are employed to do nothing else but make babies. Heck of a gig, if you can get it...

Don't look at that stuff online unless you have a VPN, firewall, Tor Browser, and malware scanner installed. Better yet, find a cute spouse who loves you back, and get busy!

I did a screenshot of the above, then went to the gallery image. I then went back to the option and it is displaying as shown above. I went to that setting many times before this with no ability to change it

Edit:. I just figured out that if some app that uses video is open, active or not, the option will be locked.

First of all, check whether the new key store has been created successfully. It just is a file.
If the key store file is no problem, then check why it failed to generate a signed Bundle. Or, try to generate a signed APK other than Bundle?
