Need to change name of personally created shortcut, not app.

Thanks ocnbrze. That worked perfectly. Once I found the widget and tried it I kinda went doh! and had to laugh at myself, couldn't believe I made what seemed like a rookie mistake. But then again this is my first Android phone so...
I have an LG Velvet 5G, no custum launcher at this point. Maybe at some point in the future I'll try playin around with one. Haven't looked into that too much yet.
And KarmHunter you are absolutely correct as well. I do remember coming across the widget at some point but never thought much about it and didn't bother to take a closer look. A noobie blunder on my part for sure. I guess I won't make that mistake again... at least until next time.
Thanks so much for the info, I do appreciate it. Now I wonder what I can screw up next...

Strange icon in top bar pls help

NFC, i.e. "Near Field Communication", is turned on.

If you are using a phone payment system, or one of those features that allows you to share media between 2 (very) nearby devices, then NFC is what they use. It can also be used for authentication (e.g. unlocking doors), and various other tasks. If you don't do any of that stuff (I don't myself) then you can turn it off and the icon will go away.

Never used NFC so I would have never guess. Thanks a lot man :)

Mobile data setting

So the Advanced Network Manager is showing "NO" or "NONE" for SIM, phone, and network. plus "N/A" for everything else in Cell Information !?

Check the SIM is inserted properly? Do you actually have any carrier service at all? Is your account paid up to date, or have sufficient credit for calls and data? Think you definitely need to contact your carrier about this matter.

Help How to backup phone?

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
What if the update fails and corrupt the phone (e.g. black screen, stuck, unable to access something...)? Is there a way to rollback/uninstall the update?
For example in PC there is a way to full backup and roll back to previous version if the Windows update fails or weird stuff happens after the update, I am thinking of similar backup in Android.
as suggested by @svim , use Samsung's SmartSwitch to backup your phone. you can even save the backup to your computer.
