I have tried resetting the phone multiple times. When attempting to go into the boot menu after reset, the phone screen gets all scrambled when the SD card is inserted.
The phone does boot normally without the SD card.
I have checked the SD card in my PC. It pops up a Read error, but does still allow me to access and remove the files.
At this point, I have copied everything (except a few corrupted files) off the SD card, and onto the PC.
I will write the SD card off as a loss. I have purchased a new SanDisk 256 GB that appears to be functioning beautifully.

Have you tried to forcely "push" the apk with ADB?
sudo adb install <.apk file> on Linux, without sudo for Windows.

Plug the phone to a computer and run a utility such as

Third party app icons do not change, since the update doesn't change those apps at all. Occasionally a system update may impose a style, e.g. masking all icons so that they have rounded corners, but that's unusual.

there is no development support for your phone so there is no custom rom. someone will have to create a custom rom specifically for your phone. that is no easy feat. plus they would need to somehow get a hold of a firmware update for the phone.....which usually the manufacturer or carrier provides, but somehow i doubt there is one for your phone.

all of the above is hard work and does not come easy and all you are offering is $5???? good luck with that

After the multiple reviews of these S30 and S40 off-brand devices from Wish.com, I can't see how anybody would want one. They're usually filled with malware and are frustrating to use.

samsung smart switch is what you want.....it is not necessarily a complete backup, but most of your essentials will be backed and can be restored if need be.

As previous replies, maybe they got server problems again, or it was shut down. Just a guess of course, as I've never heard of this "AC Market". If you still can't get it to work, suggest you try another app source, like Google Play Store.

Thanks for the info. I am hoping for a little more consistent batttery performance. Sometimes it uses a lot while I am doing nothng and have most apps set to "deep sleep". Phone works fine otherwise.

I am playing IGI 3. It's to hard to pass a mission. Or may be I am new player of this game.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you.

you can then see that I am given the choice to OPTIMIZE or DON'T OPTIMIZE.

Does the app you are using for the podcast only work for the one podcast, or can it work for many?

If it only does the one, then perhaps you would be better off using a browser for it instead.
I do not know if the app that you are using has settings for cookies, or if there is an automatic timer built in- or if it does if that timer is adjustable.

A browser is much easier to control as far as cookies, and would not have a timer.
But, in my experience, browsers do not tend to play in the background very well.

Yet another thing to consider is whether or not the app that you are using places a constant notification when it is running.
If it does, and you have turned this notification off, this can allow the system to turn the app off more easily.

Because Android systems are becoming more aggressive at turning apps off, some apps are using a 'sticky' notification in order to play continuously.
A browser that I use that does have such a 'sticky' notification as an option is called IDM+.

If this notification is bothersome, typically what you would do is to allow the notification via the app, and then block the notification in your notification settings.
