Help Anybody have any idea what this app is? ? There's multiple NEW sketchy looking "systemapps" like this on my android, Cant adjust permissions or Uninst

I don't think "it looks sketchy" really answers the question "what do you think looks sketchy about this?" ;). And is there anything at all that you can't find people being skeptical about on the internet? Because unless it's people who are verifiably technically knowledgeable who have doubts I would not attach much importance to that.

Seriously, there are lots of system processes which you can't open as an app because their function doesn't require a user interface and indeed it wouldn't make any sense to provide one. And it's the same on all phones and all computers running all operating systems. If you can't see that on a particular device or platform it's because the manufacturer has chosen not to show you that these things exist, not because they aren't there.

So the lack of description? Well that screenshot came from Settings/Apps, which doesn't describe any apps, so there's nothing suspicious about that. You find app descriptions in the app stores, but system components aren't updated that way. So the lack of description isn't a sign that something is dodgy, it's just that the places you'd find user apps described don't manage system components. If you want to know more then you can try searching Google's android developer information, or maybe visit a developer forum like XDA and see if there's anyone there who happens to know. But I have sympathy with manufacturers not adding user documentation for every system component when most users will never know they exist and would probably not understand the documentation if it was provided (not because they aren't smart enough to understand, but because most people have never had to learn how a computer works, and so wouldn't have enough context to understand what a lot of system processes do even if you described it to them).

Of course you could tell Google (or Samsung, Microsoft, Apple, etc) that they need to include full documentation on all of these system processes because you have every right to know. They'll ignore you, but if enough people tell them that they'll... well frankly they'll still ignore them ;). But if they were to actually do anything they'd most likely just remove the "show system apps" option so that users wouldn't know these things existed and hence wouldn't ask. To be honest I'm mildly surprised that Google didn't just do that in the first place, since that's the easy option.

Make Windows 11 PC auto accept bluetooth transfers?

I feel your frustration with Windows 11 not being as responsive as your Android phone when it comes to Bluetooth file transfers. It's all about convenience, right? While Windows 11 might be a bit hesitant on this front, one workaround could be to check your Bluetooth settings. Sometimes, there's an option buried in there to enable auto-receiving files, although it can vary depending on your specific Bluetooth adapter. And hey, for more tech tips and tricks, you might want to check out the Window 10 key Reddit sub. They often share useful insights and solutions that could potentially help with this issue.

Vortex T10M Pro Not Recognizing Installed SD Card

i'm not a big fan of off branded devices. sure they are cheap, but their support and troubleshooting can be very difficult. most of them do not even run well. it is just not worth it for the price. a cheap samsung tablet will be much easier to use and you have support for it as well.
It is from one of those government programs. The price was right anyway. Had to expect it, I guess.

Yeah, Samsung or Nook for me.

Goodbye googoo blather

To be honest, I'm trying to disconnect from the online world more and more with time. I've gotten it to just my Nintendo switch for Youtube and this one laptop for forums and Reddit, and hoping to ultimately log off for keeps one day, when my physical media library matches my online library. as I said, I'm wanting to live like it's the '50s. at least I've conditioned myself to not google everything, to be ok with saying to someone 'i do not know', and having no internet or computer at work.

Place to download mainstream apps other than Google Play?

the last time I used Amazon appstore was on the Galaxy S4. every apk of it since either dies 'app not installed' or complains about not working afterwards, or crashes infinite loop style 'amazon appstore keeps stopping'

I figured they EOL'd it on anything other than Amazon Fire devices. But I don't like app stores anyway so it doesn't really affect me. I was tired of not being able to use any version of an app instead of the latest version, and the app store having the ability to sneak in updates even if I turned said features off. With APK sideloading, any app stays as it is unless I specifically sideload an updated APK version.

F-Droid ain't for the faint-hearted. You need to add in repos for it to do anything similar to Linux. It's just easier for me to search duckduckgo for whatever.apk and find it easy. I don't do the 'sudo apt-get' crap either, I use Linux and still download sources or tarballs.

If I were into app stores, there's the SlideMe marketplace, which hasn't been updated since Android 2.3, so every app it offers is from that era or below. It does download every app as an apk so backing them up is easy, and great for those few of us who prefered Android in that era over the iOS clone it is today.

"We've detected that this app is using an unsupported version of Play billing. Please upgrade to Billing Library 5 or newer to release this app."

Hey everyone, just encountered an issue right on the cusp of releasing a game. When I try to upload my game to the playstore, it comes up with the error "We've detected that this app is using an unsupported version of Play billing. Please upgrade to Billing Library 5 or newer to release this app.". By default Unreal 5.0 has version 3, my game doesn't include any form of transactions and I'm unclear if I can circumvent this step if I find out how to turn off microtransactions in engine. I've looked through all I could find related to this error but unfortunately nothing has worked so far. If anyone has experience with how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading

What app notifcation icon is this? 2 heart lines

If this notification is on your phone, simply pulling the notification bar down should enlighten you.
If this is a screen shot from another phone, you are most likely out of luck for information here.
There are countless icons and unless someone here is familiar with the one in question, and that is quite unlikely, we can't help you. Asking the source of a screenshot is your best avenue. Good luck.

Android 13 fonts

That is indeed a lousy font. I found a couple of things you might try on the net.
How do I change the font on my Motorola 5g?

Go to Settings > Display > Styles. Touch , then follow onscreen instructions to select: Fonts for screen elements.

And this:
Can you change font style on Moto G Stylus 5g?

To adjust other font and display options, touch & hold a blank space on your home screen, then touch Personalize.

I do not own your phone so I can't say that either method will fix your font issue.

added: I'm happy that you solved the problem. That font was terrible!! Thanks for posting the solution. It might well help another with the same issue.
