It did hum with the circuit breaker one way and not the other. That switch stays whichever way I put it. Finally somebody showed up with an Allen wrench and took care of it in a minute. There was something stuck. I'm glad it's fixed.

I need to save a Galaxy voicemail message. Is there a way to directly download a voicemail message to save it on my computer? If there isn't, how do I forward the message to my landline voicemail, from which I know how to download and save messages to my computer?

My wife has a Pixel, which is all Google. She's gotten these messages that keep telling her that her storage is running out.

I kept telling her not to allow it to automatically upload all her pictures.

I've been using F-Stop gallery for years. Keep what I want and simply delete what I don't.

is anyone having problems with the timeline feature where it shows you where you are now and what time it is but it always finishes the time and never stays ticked on here now when editing the time and also shows up random activities that you are not even doing like today it said I was on a bus but I wasn't. think Google maps is such a bad app or you are moving but you are not. you can't even delete the activities only the visits that you have been to or get something went wrong all of the time and if you add a visit to older dates it will just say no visits for this day

i use Video Transcoder from F-droid and YouCut from Uptodown.

Does the phone support screen mirroring via USB (i.e. if you connect it to a display via a USB lead or USB to HDMI)? Was the touchscreen still working? And can you still unlock it?

If the answer to all of these is "yes" you could try connecting to a display then installing something like "wifi file explorer" (which I've not used for years but still exists in the Play Store), which may allow you to copy you files over a WiFi network. Or copy them to some cloud storage of your choice.

If not it gets tricky. I did once manage to get files off a phone with a completely broken screen by swapping between connecting a display via USB (so I could see what I'd done/where I was in the UI) and connecting a keyboard (so I could use cursor and enter keys to move the pointer and click - all while blind), but it took a lot of time and effort. Also I had another similar phone with a working display that I could practice with first. I also used a USB mouse for some things, but that's even trickier to use blind! I finally got the job done by pairing a bluetooth mouse to the phone, after which I could control the phone while still mirroring the display. And since then I've always had a bluetooth mouse which is paired to my phone, just in case I ever find myself in this position (because it wasn't my phone I was trying to recover data from).

hello all I have tried few times in uninstall, reinstalled, restart phone, clear cached and data, update app, but still not working everytime i try to add a visit to timeline I always get something went wrong it's not showing my walking or driving stuff but showing places where I have visited

showing now for some reason don't what's going on with it now showing something went wrong again

i tried to add a visit just now but it wouldn't show it just said No visits for this day and if i add home to add visit and tap from friday to today and tap here now it says something went wrong

now I can't add anything if I add a visit and the time I visited from the screenshots I added it will show that but then if I add a place to that place I have visited it will just say something went wrong

I read about and finally my little Dillons store had a new trial product from M&M Mars Corp. It's called M&M Pop'd. It can't be a product of often consumption but the bites are very tasty. A lot of air in a package so they don't last long.

Plan B is keep my S24 Ultra for yet another year. It's a perfectly good phone (I was going to keep it anyway for the camera).

In a nutshell... this phone is blooming great!

Uncharacteristically for me, I have held on to the vivo X Fold 3 Pro for 21 months, since the launch of the global model, quite simply because I have not found a phone that can better it for my usage.

My original concerns about this phone were unfounded. The 5,700 mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery is now at 97% after nearly 2 years of constant use, (see screenshot), which is OK by me. Charging at 100W wired and 50W wireless in around 31" and 62" is a big plus for me.

The unique carbon fibre hinge of the phone has and still is, performing flawlessly and shows no sign of wear and tear.

Perhaps one of the biggest things for me is the screen brightness of 4,500 nits which works well in the sunshine here in the Cotswolds of England.

The phone works well on the global 5G Ultra network here in the UK and Europe

Last but not least is the crease which to me has not become any more noticeable than the day it arrived and can only be detected at a level angle of 90 degrees.

One thing I have noticed and is evident from my posts on here, is that the Chinese do not offer piecemeal updates but rather, bring all their optimisations, features releases and security patch, together in one monthly release. Apart from a few trial updates, such as the one in post #1, that is it so far.

In the last 21 months I have found nothing so far to tempt me away from this phone although I shall be looking at the global model of the Honor Magic V6 when it is released in Q3.

If I do, I often turn to one of the ad-free frontends that also offer background play and downloading of content.

Even so, the majority of what I see on Youtube is AI generated slop that is just taking up space.
