I am seeing pink/purple spots on the lower right corner of mt screen. They are not on the surface and the screen isn't damaged. Is there a fix for this?

Hi, i am not sure if this issue is device specific or software specific. I have a Sony Xperia XZs with Oreo which works nicely for almost everything. I was sad to see the old Sony messaging app go, and be replaced by Google's "messages", which works okay but not as well as the one from Sony.
Anyway, I always set my phone in Flight mode at night, to be undisturbed by calls or notifications, but there is a weird thing: Text messages don't come through, but other media messages such as when someone sends photos, do get through and cause a notification which is very disturbing. I tried turning on both flight mode and "do not disturb" but there is still a silent notification with a flashing light when the media message arrives. This is freaking me out. Does flight mode not work?? I always hav Wifi and 4G data turned off when I don't use them, so that shouldn't be causing any troubles either. I always thought that flight mode was supposed to really turn off all hardware connectivity, but it seems it is only turning off notifications (except media notifications apparently). This is really freakish.
Anyone any ideas?

I was the second best piano accordion player in a class around that age, for about 3 or 4 years. Got my picture in the paper at the annual Cork shindig.
Our glamorous lady teacher figured we were too dumb to learn to read real music so she had an ABC system. I rue never learning, though I could have pursued it later.
I picked up an accordion 20 years on and couldn't string 3 notes.

Took drum lessons in the 80's which I would have loved but didn't have the natural skill or talent.

i always go with zagg shields, mainly because Best Buy will put it on for me.....i suck at putting them on. plus there is a zagg booth in the mall near me that will install and replace the screen protector once for $7.

i hear that whitestone is really good and they have an apparatus that helps you install it with zero bubbles.

as far as cases go i have a spigen tough armor case on my note 10+

Yep! Use a file manager.

If your Android device and computer(s) are on the same Wi-Fi network, it's a trivial task with a good FM; my favorite is MiXplorer Silver. I move files around all day, to and from various Android devices and Linux computers. Piece of cake!

Please see this post for more info. Basically, your computer has to be set up for networking, i.e., you must 'share' its hard drive(s) and/or its external drives. Then, via Wi-Fi, you simply use a FM to move files in either direction.

what phone do you have? my samsung note 10+ you can go into the samsung store either thru the phone settings or directly in the samsung store. there you can get different fonts.....not sure on other phones though.

Or would wi-fi direct be a better solution?
