I assume you aren't trying to charge the phone at the same time you are playing? That adds an additional heat source.

...actually the s9 does a better job with same ram imo for recent apps etc ..... crazy .... sacking off the pix3 i think ...... might look at a refurb s10 maybe as that has 6gb

A Galaxy A21S and it runs Android 10.

If you can boot into fastboot. Flash the correct recovery and move forward. If not update via SD card.

I'm currently trying to resolve the same issue yet I did find a couple of additional things that I haven't seen here..
1. Apparently these MT based devices are picky about power. The reference I received said use Original Charger and cable.
I believe looking up the specs and confirming your device is charging within spec is more realistic and equally effective.
If you swap out charger because it wasn't meeting spec. Then Drain battery to 5% and then apply full uninterrupted charge. Repeat 3 times total prior to regular use.

Intall twrp through odin. 'diable auto reboot!'
after flash you see 'pass'. remove cable and force shutdown by removing battery for 5sec replace then reboot to recovery by holding vol+, home and power button then release power button when factory logo apear. now you can install aosp or RR roms Android 6 or 7.1

Based on my own experience (research). If anyone came across this same scenario. first if its updating BE PATIENT coz sometimes it takes almost an hour and once interrupted will result in BOOT-LOOP.

First fix is factory reset

Sure fix is through odin via pc just find the official firmware for GT-I9152.
You can also flash twrp custom recovery via odin after flashing stock firmware just disable auto-reboot option on odin (with auto reboot while flashing twrp it reboots to system and when you go to recovery its not twrp but stock). after flashing, directly hold power to shutdown. then imidiately hold power, home and vol+ keys to reboot to recovey (release power button to prevent further reboot).

I have TWRP installed and Custom ROM first i tried AOSP FINAL (Android6.0) rom. works but some apps installed turn to bootloop cause some problems like unable to launch apps and settings.
lucky to have twrp recovery I can delete the exact folder of the folder of the app i recently installed. (research how to)

Now I decided to use ResurrectionRemix (Android7.1) rom which is my favorite and installed on all of my old samsung devices. like s4 and note2.
but on this GT-i9152 the RR rom has no final build. left with one bug.
'BLANK SCREENSHOT' but they added a screenshot app. so far this is what I'm using until now on my gt-i9152.

I would love to have an app to help me to weight reps.
I want to do 20 seconds in which I'll do reps, then get a buzzer and an alarm for 2 seconds.
Then I want 40 seconds rest... then get a buzzer and an alarm for 2 seconds.
Then repeat.

I'm not sure what I should be searching for.

Problem 1. Sounds like a poor reception problem at home. See if your carrier offers WiFi calling.

Problem 2. Maybe a problem in your carrier network possibly?
