Ex hacked my phones need help

Okay I am just going to shoot straight a lot of you lurkers or newbies come off as trolls looking for attention or your simply idiots:thinking:
My kids dad is in school for Network Security "tech guy".
I embarrassed him so he wanted to get revenge / dirt on me. He got physical access to all of my phone. I have HTC one M9 , Samsung galaxy s8 (both sprint) ,and a Verizon LG G8 Thin Q. I feel I need access to a computer to actually do something about this.[/QUOTES
How did he get physical access?
only two people who are allowed to touch my phone's are my wife and daughter, and maybe Verizon store employee
I've actually been messing around on both phones bc he fell asleep early lol & it kinda looks like my phone is being treated like a work profile phone and his is the administrator or something?? Could that be??
Are you still in a relationship with person? Because there seems to be some serious trust and control issues there .

Safe map alternative

I use a app called co pilot
+1 for co-pilot. It's based on PC-Miler, which was an old school routing software for trucking. So in addition to having off-line maps and navigation you can set driving profiles (no tolls, no highway, hauling a camper, etc.) and the maps are frequently updated. A onetime purchase for general navigation and something like $12 / year for real time traffic.

volume booster GOODEV crashes

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster&hl=en_US
There is a reference in the Play Store description from its developer that this should considered to be 'experimental software' that isn't supported by all devices.
Quote:
"By installing this application you agree that you will not hold its developer responsible for any damage to hardware or hearing, and you are using it at your own risk. Consider this to be experimental software.

Not all devices support this software. Try it at your own risk and see if yours works."

Goodbye to my old Pixel

There's the standard earpiece speaker at the very top edge of the display, and a second speaker that fires out of the bottom of the phone.

https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/7157629

(And yes, a headphone jack too. I assume that's functional but I couldn't find any old-timey headphones to test with. ;) )

That's what the original Pixel had, and that's really the only drawback for me. I much preferred the front facing stereo speakers of the Pixel 2 & 3 vs the 1 front & 1 bottom firing the OG Pixel had. To watch a YouTube video in landscape, you had to cup your palm around the bottom firing speaker so you didn't block the sound. But otherwise I'd say he should definitely see an improvement in performance over the OG Pixel.

Transferred from AT&T, now low signal problems

Can you not connect thru WiFi? When I was on ATT, I *thought* I was in a high signal area - until I finally got frustrated, drilled down on their coverage map, and saw there was a hole right in my home area. Go to your provider's web site coverage map and drill down to street level. If you're in a hole, they're should let you out of your contract.

Russ

s7 16gb to 32 gb motherboard

Hang on, the SM-J737a isn't an S7, it's a J7! That's a completely different phone, so swapping motherboards isn't an option: it's unlikely to even fit physically, and peripherals like the display are completely different. So the G930's motherboard won't be able to drive the J737's peripherals: the connectors are unlikely to be compatible or in the right place, and even if they are physically compatible the drivers will be wrong. If you want to use the G930 you need to get the screen fixed.

The good news is that the IMEI doesn't matter: put your SIM in a different phone and the number moves with it. In fact while I don't know US law on this, where I am in the UK it's illegal to modify an IMEI, and I'd regard anyone who offered that "service" as shady at best (since the primary reason for doing this is to work around blacklisting of stolen phones).
