I do have one point to raise about your Multiplication Tables app, in your Privacy Policy you state "Our products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older."

From my experience as a school teacher, people who are at least 13 years or older are usually on more advanced maths than learning their multiplication tables. This subject would be taught at elementary/primary school levels, i.e. children under 11, but they can't use your app?

Maybe make an app that teaches algebra, trigonometry, or Pythagoras theorem would be more appropriate for your intended audience?

What do you mean by "app menu"? Do you mean the "app drawer" (scrolling list or pages of app icons for all installed apps), or a shortcut to settings? And have you had any system updates recently?

I ask because swiping up from the bottom of the screen to access the app drawer has been an option for Android navigation for a couple of years now, so it's possible it's something you've activated accidentally or where the default has been changed by an update. I've never heard of a vertical line, but that may be a Samsung thing. So I'd check your launcher's settings (anything "gesture" or "navigation" related), and also look at the system settings for gestures (these are under "Settings > System" on more stock devices, but Samsung change the Settings layout so I can't be fore where they'll be on your phone).

i have a galaxy watch and a galaxy watch active 2 and both have never had this issue.....i guess you can't factpry reset the watch since it will not turn on. i would definitely get it looked at.

I do see your problem, is whenever I do search with my phone, it always pops up around twenty or so top searches, which half of the time, I really could not care less with the celebs. Jus tsomething more out of th e old habbits of mine, even not really searchign for them, it is nice and handy sometimes.

Oy! Its been months and Im only now realizing I was trying to run stuff from the SDcard when I was in [ adb shell *~androidSDCard/*/*/* ].
I needed to be pointing at the files on the HDD of the machine whose terminal I am running. (DUH)
I only discovered this once I couldnt get f-droid.apk to install using the same mistake.

Try resetting and clearing data for the Instagram app. But if it is an issue with Instagram, then that's something they might need to fix with an update.

You can. Record the sound in a common format (mp3, aac, ogg should all work in my experience, doubtless others too) and put it in the Notifications folder on your device's internal storage. The system should then let you choose it for any app that lets you choose the notification sound.

I don't think you've much chance. For one thing, Verizon have always been keenest on locking their phones to prevent rooting. But the big problem is that Android has encrypted the storage by default since Android 5, and the S7 was released with Android 6. So unless she specifically turned the encryption off any data recovery program will be faced with trying to recover encrypted data after the encryption key was deleted by the reset. Maybe there's some weakness in the S7's implementation that will let you recover the encryption key (which in modern devices should be in a special secure store, but just maybe they didn't do that properly), but I think the chances are very small.

If stuff stored on a removable SD card was deleted that's easy: those aren't encrypted by default, and you can just stick them in a card reader and run some file recovery software on a computer. But unless you changed the settings the camera was likely to be storing the data in the internal storage.
