That cleared it! Thanks to everyone helping out. Man, what a pain that was. That 'clear data' button seems to be a different location on my phone than others it seems.

It sounds fun, and yeah I can add a mode where you can play as the ninja but it's pretty hard to think that how the gameplay is going to be. Any hints or ideas. I'll surely try to add it.

The 'HP Print Service Plugin' should be all you need, no need to have an additional third-party print server service like that PrinterShare Mobile Print app in the mix.

But I'm wondering since the set up is a bit jury-rigged with your printer connected to your local network via that Netgear PS101 Print Server if that's why the HP app is having issues detecting the IP address (i.e. it's not the HP LaserJet IP address but rather the Netgear Print Server IP address)

Yes, I definitely need to draw a line, but gauging how much I'll recover isn't a factor. I'm in the house I will die in, and at that point my daughter gets it, and must keep it in the family.

You should've heard some of the conversations I had with telemarketers, before I quit answering unknown calls. They're persistent little devils!

They'd be trying to sell [fill in the blank: solar panels, remodeling, adding a room, other big projects], and their biggest selling point was "it'll add so much to the value of your home!" Yeah, right.

I'd explain that no one would buy THIS [small, California-style, unimposing] house in order to LIVE in it. In Arcadia, houses like mine are &$#*!@) bulldozed the day after the title transfer is complete. So adding a room wouldn't do anything but cost me money! [If I intended to sell.]

Your bath with new fixtures will look sharp. It's not like the project can't be revisited at some point. A little here and a little there over time is the ticket. Steady wins the race.

Definitely. My imagination ran wild; I'm glad my better judgment kicked in. And you're right, the bathroom will look good with its new fixtures--and fresh paint. We can always do more later.

Yes, but it's nice, right? I mean, it's your home, and it has been for so long you're remodeling its remodels! Besides, you're so handy, I'll bet you get a lot of satisfaction out of doing the work yourself. Much like learning how to repair cars, remodeling is something I never got around to.

By the way, I know exactly what sparked my over-zealous ideas: looking at pictures of my house in Dallas. Specifically, the beautiful porcelain pedestal sink, matching toilet, ceramic tile floor, and other fixtures I had replaced when renovating its master bath. I think I got confused...and thought I still had the income that went along with that. *SMH*

Then I guess the first thing to do is to reset the phone. Just make sure you do all the stuff I advised in the previous post so you don't get locked out of your own phone and lose all your data.

Hi @Achesh Shetty, have you checked that 'eye protection' is not enabled. It's something I've just discovered.

Pull down from the top, pull down a second time to expand it and show the brightness control, then swipe left and 'eye protection' is top left, it puts an amber shade on.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure how, but finally connected to my phone's hot spot. That was enough to reset the tablet to factory. After the reset, I have been able to get on the Internet using the phone again, Yeah!!! Let's hope it lasts.

I didn't do anything in mass. I went app by app, keeping some of what was listed as bloat and disabling some of what the app listed as in the at-my-own-risk category.

It gives you full information on each app as well as a link to Google it to find out what it does.

Thank you very much! I installed Nova Launcher and it seems to have resolved the problems I was having.

Perhaps you're referring to the various 2FA apps you installed instead? They're also a viable option instead of the Google account 2FA but whatever the case, plan ahead, just in case the worst case scenario happens, you lose your phone:

i've never done before but would “rooting” it then “unrooting” it stop this annoying problem?
it's been taking me seems like forever to study how to do it for non-Samsung phones.

It's really essential to have known good backups of anything on your phone that's not saved anywhere else.

Could a phone update remove my call logs or has something else happened to my phone?

Either way, what's the best way to recover those logs or are they gone forever?
