Unable to write to memory card

Four similar problems in the past two years? That's a really significant failure rate. Once in two years could possibly be just a one-time glitch but is still something that's notable, four times indicates there's some problem you shouldn't ignore.
It isn't likely, but possibly the card slot in either your phone or your PC is faulty and causing premature errors when writing to this microSD card. Do you have any other cards and are they also having a this problem? If not, this sounds more to be a matter where the card is able to still work but only marginally. Ideally if you do things like always dismount the card before removing it you shouldn't have any problems with it but four separate issues isn't typical at all. It might be better to just replace this card with a good, reliable new one, they're relatively inexpensive and its your data you should take into consideration.

Google left swipe home feen

Yes... I got that, but if I screen shot what I have now you will see the option because with the current them it adds it too the list,as I said the OEM theme,skin, launcher whatever you want to call it doesn't have that option..

That is so weird.

What is the name of the theme that takes out the Google Feed option? Is it from the LG Smartworld store or from Google Play?

Address Sanitizer on Non Native Project

Currently, I have an Unity Android Project with a weird random signal 11 crash.
The backtrace pointed to a jni lib called libulua.so. But I don't have the source code of it and it has no symbol map in it. So addr2line cannot help here.

So I want to find a way to monitor the memory problems. I'm trying to grab info about Address Sanitizer, but what I found told me that it only works on native code build - build by combining .so libs and java codes doesn't count.
Is it possible to use Address Sanitizer to monitor a jni lib in Android java project? If so, is there any tutorial or wiki to tell me how to do it?

Or is there any other way to solve my problem?

Help How Can I Stop Screen Turning Off During Call

Hey, ok so this is first time I've been really annoyed at my phone. I am trying to just hang up on someone and I can't get the screen to turn on I'm pressing every button and it flashes for a second then off.

How can I just keep the screen on during a call?
Issue for me began with Android update that messed up the proximity sensor. Tried a bunch of apps with no success, then found this simple workaround: when dialing number, add a "Pause" (symbolized with a comma ',') and the phone will display the screen. Changed all my contacts when I found that. Doesn't make a difference for incoming calls, but solves the issue for outgoing calls at least and makes it possible to phone in to a service where options must be selected (i.e. 'Press 1 for X, press 2 for Y...')

My first android app :)

Hey,
I just created a simple android app.

Want to import Outlook ICS file from PC to Android Outlook

If you had them both logged into your Outlook account, then Outlook on your PC and phone will sync automatically.
Thanks for the thought but doubtful. I'm retired. I don't do email on my phone and the only reason I'm using Outlook is that I still have a licensed copy of MS Office 2010 from my job on my PC, am generally familiar with it, and the native Win10 email and contacts programs had no manual way to back up and restore that I could figure out. The only account I have is the email address that's tied to my personal web page

Websocket Streaming

By using native player, we can play mp3 container audio through websocket stream, But we got exact 30 Sec latency, On player initialize we hear the audio after 30 sec. How can we reduce these latency. Is that value configurable somewhere in android library.
Actually I am playing raw pcm data using AudioTrack through websocket so it is giving me clean audio quality ok so when I am receiving some encoder contained data through websocket then my AudioTrack play audio but it has 30 sec latency so the data receiving at websocket is of aac encoded and mp3 container using ffmpeg this type of data AudioTrack can decode but it takes 30sec approx and then play so we can say that latency of 30 sec we need to reduce latency as pcm data run as it is on Android device which has no latency ....

Here is my code
on oncreate method

bufferSize = AudioTrack.getMinBufferSize(44100, AudioFormat.CHANNEL_OUT_STEREO, AudioFormat.ENCODING_MP3);
mAudioTrack = new AudioTrack(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC, 44100, AudioFormat.CHANNEL_OUT_STEREO, AudioFormat.ENCODING_MP3, bufferSize, AudioTrack.MODE_STREAM);
mAudioTrack.play();

in websocket override method.....

@override
public void onBinaryReceived(byte[] data) {
Log.e("onBinaryReceived",""+data);
try{
/* dataa = createMediaSourceFromByteArray(data);
Log.e("data",""+dataa);
runOnUiThread(new Runnable() {
@override
public void run() {
initplayerExo(dataa);
}
});*/
mAudioTrack.write(data, 0, data.length);

Could my K20 have been taken over

so just to put you at ease. in order for someone to hack your phone, they would need physical access to your phone. there really is no way to hack a phone and do things to it remotely. you would either need to download spyware apps or root the phone to gain access to the system os.....so as long you did not hand your phone to a somebody you do not know, you should be fine.

and just so you know, i would not expect much from the phone anyways. according gsmarena lg k20 specs your phone only has 1gb of ram running pie. so yes things will be slow. if you are not clearing cache on a consistent basis things can run really slow or the phone can get very buggy.....so i'm not surprised.

help

My Sony Experia mobile does not work as it says "mobile network not available".

It worked OK for the last 7 years, suddenly the phone says Mem.Error, delete some files from sd or internal storage.

How do I get mobile network as it was before?

First things first, the memory error.
I hope that in the 7 years you have had this phone that you have played with it!

Your phone is clogged with so much stuff that it can no longer function.

Hopefully, you have an SD card installed.

You need to use the File Manager (or similar) app on the phone to move your personal files (videos, pictures, pdf files, etc.) onto the SD card.

Generally, you make a folder on the SD card, and then put things into it. If you need a step by step I can do that, although I don't know your device. I can give you a general instruction on how to do it, and even a video of how it is done on my device.

Start with the largest files first- most file manager apps have the ability to list items by size.

Be sure that what you are moving is your files, and not something that is device related.

If this is all making sense, and is within your capability (you would be surprised to find out how many people that are 20 years old that can't do this), then continue on until the memory warning goes away.

It may take a while even after you have reached that point.

Now, being 7 years old, it is a possibility that your service provider has changed technology, therefore rendering your device unable to be used as a phone on their (and probably anyone else's) system.

If you have been a long time customer, they may offer you a free phone that is compatible to keep you as a customer. AT&T has done this for me multiple times.

If you use the camera on this device for pictures and videos, then be sure that its storage is set to be on the SD card.

A device that old is sure to have a deficiency in memory capacity.

In tech years, your phone is older than you are.
Unfortunately, if tech had a 'greatest generation', it is much older than your phone, in my opinion.

So, if you can navigate the file manager and move some files you should be able to at least get online with it via Wi-Fi, if you cannot use it on your network. So it is still useable in that respect.

Anything that you put onto the SD card can be easily transfered to a new device if need be.

Let me know if this helps at all, and if so I can help more, to free up more memory and see what can be done with it.

Help me see hidden settings

Help! I recently downloaded a hidden settings app and one of the menu options says an Activity Picker. After clicking it lists a bunch of shady options. What does this do? After clicking on one of the options it does nothing.

Hadron is right.

We need to know what the name of the app is, where you found it, where you downloaded it from, etc.

Also, the make, model, and OS of your device could be helpful.
