I'd suggest before deleting anything you look into the Settings menu of Camera app itself first. It sounds like that some auto-focus option has been inadvertently disabled.
Some more advanced photographers disable auto-focus features so they can set up a shot to their own needs, but most of us just rely upon auto-focus.

Apparently the problem relates to the lock screen. Have you gone into the Settings menu, deleted that lock screen pattern entry, and create a new one?

LOL, I was cleaning up a machine for an ole boy one day and I emptied the trash can. He started freakin out and when I asked him what was wrong he says, "I had several things in there I was keeping !"

Another good one, I went to work at a place that had a employee machine and one of the ole boys there was looking up plane tickets for a vacation he was gonna take. At the bottom of the screen were all the open windows he had going on, 21 of them most of them the same site and information. I could not get him to under stand that he could close one after looking at it, and only needed one of each open to compare prices ....

The Samsung login pop-up might be due to various reasons, such as automatic sign-ins, app updates, or sync issues.
Try clearing cache and data for Samsung apps or check your Samsung account settings to stop the pop-ups.

Yes I have a Samsung S21 and have 965 contacts in Phone and much less in the 4 google accounts (11, 23,12, 434 respectively). I am not counting Aol (yes hard to believe), Outlook, and 3 work/volunteer email accounts. I am trying to make things much simpler and also so that I can start synching everything.

I see the Move Contacts. Now I just have to figure out where I want the contacts though it looks like I have sync on for most of accounts - though not sure that I understand Sync contacts as they all do not have the same entries.
