Okay, don't know how to delete previous comment, BUT think I may have fixed this issue. My phone (LGV30+) was doing the same, exact annoying thing...and I dreaded the thought of a 'Factory Reset'. Here is what I did and it worked for my phone.
1. Go to 'Settings'.
2. From the 'Main Menu' click on the magnifying glass (in the upper right-hand corner).
3. Type 'Emergency Alerts' and press 'Enter'
4. Select 'Emergency Alerts' (should be the only option that is available).
5. You should be in the 'Emergency Alerts' App Tab.
6. Press 'Force Stop'.
7. Return 'Home', problem should be fixed (it was on my phone).
8. Enjoy not having to listen to the 'Emergency Broadcasting System's' 1KHz tone any longer.

It was worth it at @Steven58. I had to warn people about the orange menace. Apparently Android users are not the majority of the US Electoral College. Damn those fruit phone users.

Back in the PocketPC days I too had a run in with absolute power. It corrupts absolutely. Now days I just report racists and don't "Ban Them for Life", not that a Guide could just do that.

I have had my phone for a year and a half now with no issues. I bought it brand new and have kept care of it since. Then yesterday sometime between leaving an event and driving home my phone started lagging. I had been using it all day with no noticeable problems. When I got home I tried to open YouTube and it crashed so I closed and opened it. I did this two more times before attempting to restart my phone. I held the power key down and felt the phone vibrate, but I wasn't prompted either the power off or the restart buttons. Then the screen went off after lagging a bit. When trying to remedy this the phone wouldn't turn on for a minute, the phone vibrated everytime I tried using the fingerprint scanner, as if it recognized it and unlocked, but the screen didn't come on for a while. Then when it did turn on it required me to put in my pin and read "pin required after restarting your device". So I did then this whole process repeated 2 more times, and when it didn't turn itself off most apps crashed and Google wouldn't work either through wifi or data. I plugged my phone in to charge and it worked. I went to sleep with no answers. Next day (today) I woke up to a charged phone that has buzzard problems. My alarm went off with no sound and the clock app crashed. I played music and it came through the phone speakers at full volume and it wouldn't turn down. This happened also when I put earphones in with the phones boxed-in dongle, and when I tried a Bluetooth speaker that I use often. The phone kept playing music full volume through the phone speakers. As I'm rushing to get ready for work I tried a couple more things. Again Google won't work - the pages never loaded, yet Firefox works which is how I am here now. I haven't tried Chrome though, and the Google I tried was just the google widget/app thing I'm guessing. I successfully downloaded an internet security app and avast antivirus software with no problems, and they didn't turn up anything. The one thing that I haven't been able to find out is an unknown notification icon in the status bar. It is a rectangle vertical, with a angled cut in the top right corner making it look like a paper with a fold in it (or even sort of like the SIM icon), but it has an exclamation point in it. And I didn't notice it until I had the crashes started yesterday. I tried a search of what it meant since I have no notification prompt of if and didn't find anything yet. I wish I had more time to research answers but I am at work. As I'm writing this now the phone has not lagged, crashed, etc., but I'm still finding weird problems as I go like no being able to swipe through photos in my gallery? And now Gmail app doesn't work. I'm going to go to a mobile place and ask about it later today, and I hope I have given enough info about my problem here too, but I haven't seen anything like this before on any android I've had

Hi guys, I saw the shutdown monitor app in my old Qualcomm device. I don't see such app anymore in other device. It is an system app and I think it is not related to account activity. Moreover, the app can be disabled. It should be device dependent

Hmmm I have it on my windows partition but never really used it from there, will give it a try...

The app is probably storing it as internal app data (so a database in the /data/data area, which you'll need root to access), though there may a copy in Google's servers (keeping their own record of how long you use your device and when would be a very "Google" thing to do). I can't see any advantage to Google in keeping the data where you can see exactly what it stores.

My guess is that if it doesn't provide an option to export the data (which I'm sure you've looked for) you are out of luck.

(enable "Mobile Hotspot Tethering)
install
TeamViewer Control Remote Device

Phone-B
Client Phone (to be controlled)(without SIM card)
install
TeamViewer QuickSupport
and
Add-On: Medion X5004

Remote-control Phone-B on Phone-A works without problem.

It is possible reversing them, Phone-A as Client Phone and Phone-B as Host Phone.

I'm still struggling to find a solution with Bluetooth, i.e Phone-to-Phone without Internet access.

After you have downloaded and installed both, you will need a very useful tool made by someone at XDA-Developers (if you know who it is please let me know).

Download this tool (attached) and unzip everything inside of it into one common folder. I personally unzipped everything into my Android SDK folder.


Signing
Now run the autosign.bat. You will have to go through commands 1(Set PATH variable for SDK) ,2 (Set CLASSPATH variable for signing tool) and 3 (Install registry entries). They are very easy to use and just follow the instructions. If you are asked to confirm and/or replace a file, always select yes!

Now you are finally ready to sign! There are two options to sign the .zip

1)Find the ROM (.zip) and right click and select "Resign Zip". If you use this option a command prompt box should quickly appear and disappear.

OR

2) Using the Autosign.bat, select option 4, and then write the directory and file name of the ROM. For example,

D:\Android\ROMs\YourROMHere.zip

It will hang for a bit at the part where it says "signing", and then it should say something along the lines of "Successfully completed if no errors above"

Lol if you prioritize you privacy maybe you should do the cleaning on your own sir =)))) But if you insist, maybe my suggestion is AVG cleaner, because it is an built-in app on my Xperia XZ2. So I think somehow it can be trusted

Thanks. I used and liked Textra several years ago on another phone running KitKat, but had forgotten about it.

As for a utility like the Malwarebytes app, keep in mind that you'll be installing it as a typical user. That's adequate for exploits residing in the user's data partition but there are some exploits that do infect the Android operating system itself. The OS resides in various system partitions so as far as the Malwarebytes app, it only has some advanced user-level permissions. That applies to the user data partition but not necessarily for those with the protected, system-level permissions, so the utility is only going to have very limited access (perhaps read access but not write access) -- so while it may be able to detect a problem it probably cannot actually fix the problem.
With an Android device, when it involves something that's only in the user data partition there's a good chance it can be cleaned up and eliminated, but if the OS becomes infected the most likely fix is to just flash it with an appropriate stock ROM.

You have to set it to unlisted the copy the URL the app has the URL your building and will only allow viewers to view your videos if their using your app

I use Gmail. If that's what you're using, create a group by labeling folks. Say the category is "Friends" you'd put the contacts into that category. Then in the Bcc field, start typing "friends" and it will populate the bcc field with the folks you labeled as friends. I hope this helps!

I guess I should have been more clear with this, but I believe it is an Android problem. I have tried this with pcs, laptops, iphones, ipads e.t.c. I believe the issue is with the "security method" and "security certificate". I am used to logging in to this network on an Apple device where it doesnt ask for this information. I am 100% sure with my credentials. I will be contacting my local support.

ok now it seems to have settled on a single name now it is called netgear92 2. and today i was online and the pc in the lower right showed me to be offline. i had to reboot to get it correct. and now i have been going to all my bookmarks just to see what ones are still good, and i get message i have to reactivate my connection. i can't continue until i do. this is the modem that started giving me fits after i turned off the breakers and the power outage we have last weekend.

it is possible the modem to a hit. but it is on a surge protector that shows it to be working if i can believe the surge light telling me the truth. i can live with the name but that re-activate is now getting old, i may be looking at another modem soon. thanks

no i dont think so, LG Spectrum (vs920) used snapdragon s3 chip but our device used s4. The architecture is different!
