What app is this icon for?

hard to say....looks like its for Honda....but i doubt it.

here is the thing, we get this kind of question almost everyday. the only true way to find out what it is, is by looking into the phone's settings under notifications.

with icons there are thousands of possibilities of what app it could represent. factor in web notifications and you have a lot more to deal with.

so the possibility of someone knowing what the icon represents can be hit or miss. most of these threads go unanswered or nothing really comes out of the thread.

so let's cross our fingers and hope someone will recognize the icon.

[GUIDE]-Rooting the Samsung GALAXY Core Prime SM-G360T1

FWIW your guide was easy enough to follow, better than many how-to's I have read. That said the instructions worked and I was able to reboot the phone 2 times. Now I get a seandroid message and a SET warranty bit : kernel message with it. Needless to say the phone is useless. Add to that I have no backup to restore it to that's my fault.

Thank you,

Snapper 7

PS: I have posted my troubles to the forum and am trying to sort it out, just thought you'd like to know of my experience.

APN removed Android 10?

Definitely carrier activated but allowed by Google/Android. There was a lot of discussion about it from what I remember. The fact that Google catered to the carriers demand/ Wishes.
I think this was one of the things I found online about it and led me down the rabbit hole to XDA and a lot of other sites

What type of files are "memo" files?

Ok, got it thanks for the help.
You're welcome.
I now know why there are no local services which provide phone data recovery as the chances would be slim to none.
After a factory reset, unfortunately, yes. But as noted, that's the point. Like if you're selling your phone, you factory reset it first, then you know the buyer can't dredge up your data.

Unlock

A tool sounds interesting. What also sounds interesting is understanding where this MSL code comes from. Some info I've found talks about it being a hash generated from a unique id of the phone like the IMEI number. But I really don't know. It could be a number which is programmed into flash at build time or sent via OTA at activation. In any case, what this exercise is telling me is that the process to use a smartphone in a different way than what the provider intended is far too complex for the average user.

Help Can't Get Out Of Photo App Once I'm In Without Reboot

have you tried a factory reset?

Thank you, ocnbrze - factory reset worked! As my girlfriend pointed out, I'd bought this new phone after having the other one for 3 years (I dropped it and it shattered and fixing it would cost almost as much as buying a new phone) and transferring all the info off the old phone meant I had a few apps that needed to be updated.

So when I did the factory reset, I answered "Yes" to updating all apps, and now the phone shows me my arrows so I can close out of apps and go "home." Case closed.

Another thing my girlfriend pointed out is that phones for sale at a retail store may have sat there on display and in stock for over a year, meaning that when you activate the phone, you should make sure all apps have the most current version, so don't transfer, say, Instagram and Snapchat as they were - install new versions and sign in.

Cheers and best to all.

Looking For Suggestions: Calendar App With Snooze Button

Hi All!
I'm looking for either a calendar with adjustable snooze or an add-on app for the Google calendar. I was wondering if any of you know of a good one.

The Story-
I used to have Calendar Notifications Plus by Sergey Parshin on my Android 5.1 phone.
That app would show a notification when the Google Calendar event triggered. i could swipe down and pick a time to snooze from a list I could make. For example- I had 5 minutes, 1 hour and 4 hours.

Due to a crash, I had to reset the phone & re-install the apps.
Sadly, the app is no longer available. I tried using a legacy version from archive org. It did not work.

My biggest desire is to have adjustable snooze times. I searched all I could find on the Play Store and came up empty.

Do any of you have a recommendation for one you have used and liked? A replacement calendar would be OK if it syncs with Google calendar.

Thanks For Your Suggestions!
Paul

[APP] MathAlly Graphing Calculator

Hi Dave and all ;-)
I gave Mathally a try and did not found how to quit the full screen mode (Settings/Full screen). Then, settings seems no longer reachable, together with other parameters.
The only way I've found to get back to the original screen is to delete the Applications datas (Android menu "Parameters/Applications/Downloaded applications/Mathally/Erase datas").
Unfortunatelly, other settings as the apps theme choice, font size, etc... are erased at the same time.
I'd like to know how to reach the settings while running the full screen mode.
Thanks for any answer ;-D
