Solved issue with PlayStation Vue. It is an app problem related to some PS Vue restrictions about being out of home area for greater than 30 days. After trying several VPN apps, I was able to trick PS Vue into thinking we were back in home area and it started working. It would be nice if developers displayed some kind of warning/error message.

Phone also seems to be getting better battery life on Android 10.

Okay, thanks. I have no experience with Samsungs, but don't they offer their own cloud storage? If so, are you sure your files weren't backed up there?

I know you said they weren't in the cloud, but let's just run down a few things you may not be thinking about. Besides Google Photos with its option to auto-upload, do you have any other accounts, such as Dropbox or Amazon, that may have saved them?

Have you checked your gallery app for a trashcan? Some apps offer options as to what happens when you 'delete' a file, such as putting it in a holding place for X days before actually deleting it. The trashcan may be obvious, like in the app, or it may be buried somewhere in the file system.

First check the app to see if there's a trashcan within it, and check it for files. If that fails, then move on to perusing your file system using a file manager. You're looking for anything Samsung-related, then if that fails check other directories. You're basically just looking for anything that may hold those deleted files.

Post back and let us know your results.

Pretty much totally useless.I wouldn't buy another LG anyway so it doesn't make much difference to me. I bought the one I have in 2015 and there has never been a software update. That is just one of my many gripes about the product. I'm saving up my pennies so it won't be long now.

If your Moto G5s goes flat there isn't enough charge to boot phone. The phone will boot then shut down & you cant charge it.

To fix
1 Plug in USB charger
2 Hold Vol- ( lower volume button) & power button for 10 seconds or so
3 Now you should boot into Command prompt recover mode. ( see pic of Android bot with his panel open & text beneath him,
4 Look at text. Look for line that states Battery ok (charging) if this is green then phone is charging.
5 Wait 30 minutes or so, you should by now have at-least 10% charge in phone. ( wont show until you start phone)
6 select with volume control buttons option on right near buttons for power & volume, the option Start.

Now phone should boot.

7 leave on charger until phone charged

Note: Deny permissions to "Wi-Fi Utility" over and over until you get the "remember this decision" options. It's a data collection app that uses wi-fi, cell, and Bluetooth to constantly attempt connecting to anything and everything in range then sends that data back to whoever.

Headphone detection depends only on electrical connections being made. So variations in the headphone jacks, or maybe damaged wires inside, would be my first suspicion, since the software won't be much more than triggering when resistance drops below some level.

The first thing to do is work out whether it's the SIM or the phone. Does the SIM work in a different phone, and does the phone detect other SIMs?

I have the jetaudio + 9.9.0 for android on my Samsung s8 which give entire satisfaction except 1 thing

I start the music and that's work very fine but when i start a gps program at the same time with sound like ( google map, waze , tom tom , mazda gps car ) i have the sound also but when the message is finished the sound does not come back to the jetaudio player

I cannot have the 2 sound together working ( 1 after the other )

Is this something that we can solve in the settings (so many settings ) ,am i the only one, a known bug ?

There is a Samsung system app called "bootagent", so as you have a Samsung phone that doesn't sounds like anything to panic over.

You'll need to tell us more about the bluetooth apps for anyone to make a judgement there.

You never get calls? That might be a sign of a problem, but not necessarily with the phone (network coverage, not hearing the ringer, or certain junk calls deliberately disconnect immediately in the hope you'll phone them back).

The bottom line is that we need more information in order to help, but it's not clear from what you've posted whether you really have a problem. And being "hacked" is actually a very low probability event, so it's best to consider other explanations first.

Install your very own notification sounds and choose them instead of the default sound, or use a different message app such as textra that allows that

Incorrect wifi settings most common problem on p8.So at first go to your Settings>Advanced Settings>Wifi> Select: "Always" .So if you want you can choose "Only When Plugged In" as an alternative. But in this option work only when the device is charging and doesn't forget to connect the device to wifi and Bluetooth.

This morning I've had two texts allegedly from Whatsapp with a code for 2 factor authentication. The first was from a UK mobile (cell) number, and the second had a Whatsapp logo displayed by the text message. Naturally I deleted both of them as I don't use Whatsapp, and it's not installed on my phone.

I also had a voice calll saying '"Your Authorization code is 999999" with no clue what it was referring to. I blocked the number.

As 2FA is coming to UK banks and other online transactions soon, be aware of these ,maybe not so obvious, scam calls and texts.

if you have your bookmarks in chrome then you are all good. those are saved not sure about other browsers however.

I use this phone for calls only. Everytime I'm on it for a couple of minutes it disconnects. I couldn't figure out why but then I finally did and it goes to airplane mode. Why? I called my bank and had to put my card number in and Everytime I looked at my card when I went to type the numbers it went to a screen I called from. Basically I had to go back tap the phone number wait for the dial screen to enter. It disconnected and guess why. Airplane mode. This is a bunch of crap
