When I go to download page, click download button, I accept the terms and conditions, it then takes me to a new webpage where I get this error. I use edge windows 10, didn't work on chrome either. Anyone know about this?

When photos taken with a Galaxy A03s Model SM-A037U are viewed in Google Photos the GPS data is shown.

If the same photo is viewed outside of Google photos the location information is not shown.

I use FastStone image viewer and all photos taken with my Motorola show the GPS data in the EXIF info.

Photos taken with the Galaxy A03s Model SM-A037U show no GPS information when viewed in FastStone image viewer.

How can this be fixed?

I originally used Samsung built-in player, until they discontinued it. Then ‘AIMP’ but it’s a confusing interface and often not able to play files you know are there.
I moved to ‘Music Player’ initially it was fine, but now plays adverts and videos at really annoying intervals .. and you can’t quit them.

Can anyone recommend a good free basic MP3 player, for off-line playing of my own audio files.

On my old phone, I had powerful battery options to prevent apps from consuming battery in the background. On stock Android, however, the options seem to be more limited, which is why I use the "KillApps" app to get rid of these battery suckers.
However, I have noticed that after several hours, some apps seem to restart. I notice this on the one hand by the fact that some apps have to be closed again when I call KillApps again, despite the fact that I did not open or used them in between. On the other hand, messaging apps that I killed several hours ago sync again in the background. But I whish to keep them closed until I open them manually.
Therefore my question: How can I prevent apps or services to run in background and restart themselves, even so I already closed and killed the applications process?

Two quick questions about two issues... I have a Motorola G Power w\ Android 11 on it, and after recently resetting the phone, noticed that along with the voicemail updates there is now a stopwatch \ clock icon at the top of the screen and on the lock screen. It's not associated w\ any other app, and will go away when I clear the storage and cache, but comes back as soon as I get a text, along with a 'welcome to voicemail' popup... The latter I'm able to get rid of with a quick swipe, but don't seemingly have an option within the voicemail app itself or any other setting to stop the clock icon.

And this is less of a thing but still a thing; some old email addresses I had on the phone before the reset keep popping up with the autofill... I went to the Google app itself as well as the keyboard settings, and couldn't find where I could remove the emails \ words in general from the autofill \ auto complete.

This just started happening. My phone since October is a ZTE Cymbal flip phone that runs a very stripped down stock Android on it (no package installer, no APK support, no app store, no internet even, which makes it far more secure than GrapheneOS and also makes it update proof) and whenever my girlfriend sends me pictures as MMS it lags for a minute, then pops up saying 'Confirm: A read report will be sent' OK/CANCEL. If I cancel, the picture never shows. If I confirm it displays normally but the lag it shows whenever I get the pop-up which I have never seen before is the cause of my frustration since if I'm typing to her when she sends a photo, it stops me from sending any input for that minute while it produces the pop-up.

I verified on my phone that read reports are unchecked, and I had a discussion with her about what to disable on her phone (hers is a TCL, and she uses Verizon Message+, I recommended her to check the settings on that app and even use the other, stock messages app, and she has the setting also unchecked but it still does this on mine)

Only when receiving pictures. Is this RCS causing this? Am I expected to live with this now? I wish carriers would stop forcing their will on customers. It already upsets me that they won't let me use my Thunderbolt since September, but now they're messing up flip phones now!

My sim turns on and off automatically by showing syncing contacts by sim processor
i m using oukitel wp10 5g, android 10 . Often my mobile notification shows syncing contacts by sim processor in addition the sim get deactivated , and it had been continued for some times. So I can't got any calls , messages , and not able to use mobile internet . I tried reboot hard reset and tun off all syncing in google account. my mobile and some other measures but it wasn't fixed. Was wondering if anyone has seen any behavior based antimalware.....? With all the malicious apps it would be nice if there some behavior antimalware app...? It seems doable with all the cpu power and the AI by IBM and Micosoft...

Would it be possible to install programs on Android to try them out and simply delete them if you don't like them, without leaving residues / "garbage" (as it is with Windows, for example) or without encountering problems / disadvantages? So can programs (in contrast to Windows) be uninstalled without any problems or residues or are there any leftovers / disadvantages?

I have been working on a project which has legacy code ( more than 2 decades old), so I am trying to deploy my project as an android app with target API level 29+. But I could see privacy changes introduced after Android 10, which doesn't allow binaries to be executed from app home directory. My project has an executable which used to work fine till API 28. Then reading the release notes, I came to know that only files with lib[filename].so format are extracted into app home directory, which effectively leaves out my binary from being extracted into the same. So, after going through some forums, I came to know that if we can rename binary in the form of binaryfile to lib[binaryfile].so , it's working smoothly as before.

So my question is:
Can I publish an app with such disguised binary ". so" as release build apk to playstore?? Let me clarify that, my app does simple network tests like ping, traceroute etc.

This is critical, any pointers would be helpful as I am new to android app development, and to app publishing.

More than likely it's a paperweight at this point, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have an Acer A200 tablet that I received as a gift maybe like 10 years ago give or take. Well, I figure I stopped using it maybe around 2014? It has not been touched since. My mom recently found it and brought it to my house, so my first reaction was to try and log into it. Here is where the problems begin...I had one of those line draw passwords. I locked it up real fast trying to figure it out. So, then it gave me the option to log in via google account, which again I can't do. I've tried every password I can think of...my new one, passwords I consistently used back then, nothing works. And I can't connect it to Wi-Fi of course, so either it's blocking me from using it entirely or I simply cannot guess the right password from back then. Begrudgingly, I went to factory reset it. But it won't even allow me to do that. I get the right screen but as its loading it after starting up the android ups and dies (it shows an android laying down with a red caution triangle). I don't know what else to do. Ideally, I'd like to save the stuff on there because I know it'd be like a time capsule, but I'm also aware that that more than likely isn't going to happen. What are my options here? Can I reset it with my computer? I'm at a loss.

We are facing problem with connecting android devices to our VPN server.
Also iOS devices do not have any problems to connect.
Android devices trying to connect via StrongSwan official app from google play. And iOS from system settings.
VPN server based on StrongSwan+Charon
We tried to make a dump from vpn server and found the difference between successful and unsuccessful connections
- In success: server receives SPI key, and respond with Responder SPI key and connection successful
- In failure: server receives SPI key, but respond with empty Responder SPI key and connection failure with "INVALID_KE_PAYLOAD" error

My battery is failing and warranty has expired for long time so I can only have it replaced in an unofficial shop. Is it necessary to create a back up before letting them replace my battery? COULD it lose everything if they carelessly do something or hit on some parts during the replacement? I have no experience and knowledge about fixing a phone.
