You only flashed one kernal at a time correct ?

I'm doing each file at a time. and for the white text, I don't exactly get the words "flahshing" or anything like that... I get, "Extracting/Installing Kernel...", "Enjoy" then "Install from SD card complete".
 
did you wipe davlik cache before flashing - ?

Yes set max to 691 (should be there already though)
Then you can underclock for screen off - But you don't have to....
 
if you don't mind, can you give me some tips....should i set it on demand? or leave it interactive? and Yes sir...I wiped Dalvik. I have had bad luck with my phone. My fiance has a hero and all my mods on it run great.
 
Bummer - was hoping it was something small - Interactive SEEMS to run best on most phones. That or on Demand -

I run 768/176 Interactive Main
768/176 - interactive / Charging
and 518 /352 interactive Screen off (raise the min on screen of to ward of wake lag - supposedly fixed in the new kernal - not running it yet - waiting for BFS....

I personally use oc widget, no troubles here;) Plus, I keep it simple, no interactive, on demand.... just simple overclock, underclock, imho:)
 
I noticed two problems with CM6. My MMS for some reason stopped working. I was able to send and receive media and suddenly it wont either receive or send pictures or video. I already tried flashing the MMS fix zip file and it's stil not working another problem I noticed is that when I get blocked calls, the picture of one of my contacts appears on the caller ID and if I'm not mistaken, the picture on the caller ID is supposed to be blank or the default contact picture o_O

The mms issue is very common, some have the issue and others don't. Since you tried the mms fix, have you tried flashing over to a sense rom and seeing if the mms feature works there? Nandroid first, flash over to a sense rom, check if mms works, then nandroid restore back to CM6.

Picture ID problem is strange, have not heard of that one:confused::confused:
 
Hmmm.. No I haven't tried that... today I woke up and MMS is working again... :S but I don't think it has nothing to do with the MMS fix zip file because it wasn't working yesterday... I don't know.. I still got the issue with MMS that if I try to receive a slide through text message, it wont work. It just opens and quickly takes me back to the main SMS screen, and the slide wont open, but videos and regular pictures do work... so I don't know *shrugs* lol
 
Today I'm only running the stock MMS. I tried handcent before going to bed and it wasn't working either. I uninstalled it because I kept getting messages twice it got annoying! lol
 
That is because you have to turn the stock notification off

I just installed cm6. it is my first rom. just rooted yesterday. it was so easy with the help on here, thanks everyone. is there a way to put the apps I had downloaded from my stock phone onto this rom, or do I have to download them all from the market? I am also wondering if I try out new roms, will I have to download the apps on it again
thank you in advance.
