I use it to restore my apps no problem, i dont use it to restore any data it causes problems sometimes, except for my games scores.

I have had an occasional issue, usually with market, then i wipe market data. Sometimes i wipe cache and dalvik, and if all else fails i uninstall and reinstall titanium but this usually is an issue for me when a rom comes with Tib installed already not on aosp and sense 2.

Trying this out now.

Please do. I've been trying to get King's GB working, and I thought I had it today, but started getting Gmail FC's (which are fixed by resetting data), MMS probs (sometimes works, sometimes not), and GPS failing when driving, so I'm back to Koni's ES3.

I won't have a chance to try this til the weekend, so thanks for pointing it out and updates.

Oh, and shocker that Frenchy is here. Now all we need is Mr. Ed and Xtremedays and we've got our GB guys. (kidding of course - you guys are great at helping and leading the way on these ROM's - thanks!!!)
Wheres xtreme? LoL

Check "Migrate System Data" in TB, it's suppose to be able to restore data between incompatible ROM's. I've read about this over at XDA and also read of people using this method to switch from a sense based ROM to an AOSP ROM, w/ no issue.

I've never tried this method as of yet, so if you do, let us know how it goes.

+1, also heard of this but never tried. Curious as to the results.

Followed instructions below from another post:

[ROM] RUU SuperSonic EvO 3.70.651.1 OTA - Stock - Sense - Deodexed & Odexed Version - xda-developers

Wipe all (caulk format all works perfect)
Install a sense Rom
Set up phone, make sure gps is on
Download MSL Reader from market and remember code for later
With dialer dial ##4772579#
Use msl code
Phone will reboot
Make sure gps is still on. GO OUTSIDE AND WAIT UNTIL IT FINDS 5-10 GPS SATS (5 minutes)
reboot into recovery
Wiped cache and dalvik
Restore nandroid of aosp Rom
Your set

is there any way to keep the stock camera? So far I love this rom, but the camera feature is a deal breaker, I like the tap to focus and this one does a crappy job auto-focusing.

Nope..no way to keep stock. There are settings for manual focus tho. They work but I agree not as well as stock. Video can is far better.

I may come back to this rom later. I had problems getting a clean flash...random rebooted. A2sd would work but get lost at reboot. Apps kept disapearing

Too many inconsistant behaviors for me to troubleshoot right now

Are omgb and/or omfgb still being worked on? I have a gps issue, and some questions, but there isn't much action at the"haxxor" website.

I loves me some notification toggle widgets!

Right, cant live without them. The new sense has them but its more like MIUI where you have to click over to quick settings to see them, i actually prefer the sense 1 style drop down and bam they are there.

Dont flash OMGB then :) just omfgb

That's one of the reasons I like this rom so much! Loads of roms have the notification toggles, but very few I've tried have 3g AND sync switches.

GPS issues? DId you do the gps fix? ##gpsclrx#

IM not sure if they are being developed anymore but you might try bouncing a q off of us, we are pretty helpful :)

So I did finally get around to trying the GPS fix last week... Flashed back to omfgb and thought everything was golden. What I didn't realize was that I was using WiFi for location. When I shut that off, I wasn't getting any GPS action at all...

This is frustrating. I like this rom... I don't see any action in his forum. I question of there is any development happening anymore. I may have to leave omfgb for gps-er pastures.

I wanted to resurrect this as I just flashed this last night and really like it. It's extremely stripped down (ROM is only 66mb) and as a result has some great speed. It is still being developed, but updates are on RootzWiki now, not XDA. If anyone wants a bare bones AOSP that seems to be bug free (from what I've seen so far) then this is a great choice.

Thanks for the update:)

Noticing one thing now, 4G seems kind of wonky. I'm in a decent coverage area (believe it or not) so I do use it. Going to look into it.

Edit - Not sure if it's the ROM or Sprint having issues. I ran a speed test on 3G and 4G and both were horrible (3G - .33Mbps/4G - 1.57Mbps). I'm in Boston and normally have some solid download speeds with both.
