I know this is totally off-topic, but figured I could help real quick with a real world analogy that I learned about ISO when I first started photography.
Relate ISO number to worker bees collecting light onto the sensor. The less worker bees (lower ISO) the less light is captured on the sensor in that amount of time (shutter speed). The more worker bees you have (higher ISO) the more light can be captured on that sensor in that period of time. But as you increase worker bees in that same space you increase collisions between them which relates to digital noise. So the higher the ISO the more light you can bring in, but it results in more noise on the photo.
Back on topic!
I think everyone needs to step back and grab a cup of coffee.
I've followed this thread from near the beginning, and it seems whenever someone posts some favorable information, we are quick to dismiss it as rumor (Where's your source?), but as soon as anything relatively negative is posted, we all latch onto it like it's proven fact and it's the end of the world. (I'm guilty too)
These are all rumors, folks. Let's not panic yet.
Welcome to the forums, elye!
Any and all info is appreciated... but yeah, we do like to vet our sources. I know you're not going to reveal how you know this to us, but could you possibly PM our illustrious mod Steven58 with that? Perhaps you can explain to him, behind closed virtual doors, how you know this to be true.
That said, AndroidForums official stance in this matter is that all members here are free to examine the information themselves and to come to their own conclusions. It's our Admin (Phases) belief that in this way, group scrutiny will ultimately establish the bona fides of any information, and the source(s), in question.
Because jobs are stake, and corporations have their own way about them (need I say more?) - I would ask that we concentrate on the information rather than the individuals.
Ultimately, the good guys giving us good information only care about that anyway.
Thank you!![]()

EDIT AND PS:
(when someone else asked for credentials)
That is exactly what we seek to avoid.
- In the event that someone is telling the truth, they could lose their job by having details revealed
- In the event a troll slips through our defense, the thread is neatly hijacked
Did Google trademark the word "Nexus" or something? Nexus isn't really a trademark or "created" word... not sure how they could copyright it... not like "Droid", which IS a trademarked word from Lucasfilm.
nex
yup. Nobody knows anything. In regards to bmx and his battery statement. It is already well known that battery life will not be great on ANY LTE device released this year. The best you can hope for is halfway decent. When the 2nd gen LTE radios are released next year we will start to see much better battery life.
BMX is not saying anything that people dont already know. You want a good LTE device with good battery life wait until next year. If you dont want to wait then dont complain. Thats the way it is and there is no changing it. Period.
The SGSII is a LTE phone right? How is the battery in that phone? Why would the battery in the nexus be so much worse than that one?
No...it's not an LTE phone. That's one of the reasons I'm waiting for the Prime.
Wow, I wake up this morning and y'all are going crazy! CK, you are sounding quite logical IMO. I'm trying to get a grasp on what has got everyone stirred up and I can't say I'm having the same emotional reaction. When I think about it, I think that's because I really don't believe anything is true about a phone until it's released and the first reviews come in. Nothing will actually tell you more about the phone than actual use cases...and we haven't had that yet. Not for reals.yup. Nobody knows anything. In regards to bmx and his battery statement. so ISO @ 50 is really bad?
damn, i thought the NP would have a camera with an advanced sensor for better photos in the low light... so a higher ISO would be better for that, didi get that right?

well... son of a ***.... I could have sworn I read that the SGSII HD LTE would have an exynos 1.5ghz and is shipping this month
This is exactly what I was thinking too. All you Verizon customers, get your vaseline ready, because they are about the F*** you in the A** again.
...
F*** you Verizon!!!! Give me a D*** exynos powered device!!!
There is a reason for this. It is human nature to predict the future based on past events.
ie Verizon has F***'d us in the past, continues to F*** us, and will probably F*** us in the future. Therefore, any negative information must be true! Its just logic isnt it? LOL
Well, the Celox is and it's not terrible thicker than the SGS2. (Not compatible with VZW LTE though)
Now P3Droid is saying:
What a Dbag.
Edit: Google search SCH-i815 gives me the impression it's a new tablet. So, no worries.
Edit 2: The bluetooth SIG for the 815 says it's a phone, though. So, worries?

Gooooooooooooooood morning, Vietnam!
So much viewer mail I don't know where to begin!![]()
Wow, you sure get bleeped a lot. In order to avoid bowdlerization, you could try minced oaths, which are almost as good as the real thing.![]()
Knowing Verizon they probably won't get it so no worries
The battery life though... ugh, that worries me a little more, especially since you really can't tell until you've used it in an actual day yourself.
Regarding SCH-i815:
Please see this super-helpful post -

So, SCH-i815 must be for Verizon if that's accurate.
