Its not a rumor and Hong Kong isn't JapanCan someone expand to me why the rumor is that the Nexus will be announced on the 18th in Japan? It does not sound right to me.
GEEZ. Verizon is in the USA, not Japan.

I also think it's hilarious that "right above me" actually means "a page before me".

lols.........So.....to sum up what's happen on this day that began filled with much promise......nothing good happened? I'm calling it quits. CK has rubbed off on me.....I believe I am now a pessimist. Will check in next week. Troubles me that my grandson's new iPhone looked so appealing to me today.....heavy sigh.
Both. I'm saying that we should be large enough for them to want, and yet small enough for whatever negatives they are worried about to be minimal.
Say there are 100 people with Verizon dedicated to this device and willing to switch carriers to get it. An arbitrary number, I know, but 100 seems plausible. Now, with data alone, that's 3k a month total, 36k a year. Pennies to vzw, but large enough to attract attention, right? So this small group should be obtained/kept for their small contribution.
Now, flipside, those 100 people may be running software vzw doesn't like, but of that group, how many will cost Verizon, or lose them profits? Not enough to do serious damage to numbers.
Again, this is just my opinion and I know absolutely nothing.
You have so many days to provide your license if you happen to get pulled over without it.
Ugh. I hate people who have this problem. Not that I think the person you quoted does, but many Americans have this problem where Asia is Asia. Japan, Myanmar, India, or Taiwan--what's the difference? It annoys me to no end that way too many people think that Asia is some homogeneous blob.
To be fair, you were to post above me when I started typing.
Also, I laughed out loud at the Hans Solo picture and at Han's post/rant.
Confession: I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies. So...I think I get self proclaimed pass for the Han/Hans thing.

EDIT: Chief, the stats. I have charts to catch up with.
Blasphemy!!!
Your forgiveness to not knowing Han Solo is overridden by your lack of seeing the movies. There is no forgiveness for that. Little kittens die every day you don't see them. We want a synopsis and 2500 page term paper by tomorrow.
(start with the original Star Wars, Ep IV-VI, then go I-III)
Now get crackin.![]()
Yep, My mistake, I was reading a statement on another site while I was at work and that site said Japan. Hmm. Work and play don't mix...Ugh. I hate people who have this problem. Edit: Just so everyone knows, THIS was the REAL 9000 post, I was robbed... someone should report this thievery to the Mods! Who is that anyways??
They're don't work for a company that would know anything about that.
Edit: Ninja'd my own post, which made me 9kSorry everyone. Mwahahahahaha

Samsung's Korea-bound SHV-E120L pops up in FCC filings -- Engadget
Korean carrier LTE device
oh hahahaha....I think it's a great question. I personally would love to see this on Verizon. There are rumors of the Nexus being 1.5GHZ so if you are grasping at straws you are doing pretty wellWell, yeah
But could we get something with those specs? (thats why I posted this link)
Okay, Im grasping at staws![]()
In that case this thread shall be truly epic....And at post 10,000 I shall. . . . .

Why would a phone bound for Korea pass through the US based FCC?
