Final prediction:

4.65 in Super AMOLED HD (1280x720)
TI OMAP 4460 1.5 Ghz w/SGX540 @384 Mhz
1 GB RAM
32 GB internal storage, no sdcard slot.
1900 mAh removable battery
LTE
LED notification light
8.8 mm at the thinnest
8 MP / 2 MP
ICS 4.0
NFC

I do have to agree that the design is quite generic and Sammy really needs to get away feom the iPhone look. At least the RAZR is bold.

i would be in line early if all the above is true

its 1.5GHz Dual-Core only... nothing about whether it'll be an exynos- or and omap-chip ;)

LOL true dat...!

i'm still gonna wait and play with them both. i'll probably end up letting my gut decide - my head is a dangerous playground...

edit: and in the video, that camera was pretty dang fast. i don't know that Moto will ever get to that level...
Software ran flawless on the G Nex from what I could see. Going to miss all the hoopla tonite, gotta pay the bills. Ill catch up to it after 7:30 though. Samsung/Google make this an easy decision. Thank you.
)

You followed the RAZR so I blame you for this predicament I'm in. You should have told me ahead of time it was impressive.......lol

Well, a locked bootloader is not a huge issue for me, just as long as I can get root. One reason I am looking at the razr if the prime does not impress me. Though I may just wait till after the first of the year.

I am more concerned about the lack of SD card support for nandroids and titanium backup, but I guess devs could make a plan B for those if there is no card support. I think titanium supports drop box

Regardless of which phone you get, I wanted to THANK YOU for your contribution to this thread over the weeks and months. You have had some great points and counter-points.

It has been a great ride, and I do hope the mods give us a countdown to thread closure so we can all say our fond farewells.

There does seem to be a lot of bezel...at least more than what I was expecting at the top.

Yes exactly! It looks terrible and "iPhonish" <<that a word?

I fell in love with that first render of the phone by that artist. That was nice....I think

Maybe they will make it so you can nandroid to your PC instead of the SD card? Sounds good in theory. lol

Correct me if i am wrong you can wipe the phone , but the internal sd card wont be touched ? So you can theoretically keep the roms and titanium backs up on the internal sd card?

I admire your hopefulness but at this point I'll be content with TI OMAP 4460 @1.5GHz. How I would love it for it have Exynos 4212 @1.5 GHz... but I'm really losing hope that will be true. I'm hoping that perhaps GS III will have the Exynos 5250 with Mali T604 GPU. I did hear that Apple is still going to use Samsung for their A6 chip (quad core using 28 nm) for next summer's release of the next iPhone. I'm hopeful that this new 28 nm process can be used for the Exynos 5250 to go into GSIII. However, that is for another phone at another time.

i'm curious what your final prediction is

i won't tell you :p
