CK, I would almost pull the trigger on the RAZR too. But those two things you mentioned are why I will go with the GNex. Knowing that if I needed to I can swap batteries or even do a battery pull. And I have never had a true nexus phone. I want to see what it is like to have immediate updates. I think I am going to miss the build and call quality of moto though. Does moto still have issues with their cameras being an little subpar. I remember people complaining how long it takes to take an picture with it

All Moto cameras have been subpar, including the Bionic's camera..........Not sure about the Razr's camera, but I'd expect the same.

As a photographer this is close to my heart. Phone cams are still evolving and as we consumers keep commenting the more ground they will cover to keep in the competition.
As a PI I have this urgent want for a good low light phone cam and I have seen Samsung doing great work there in the GSII.

It remains to be seen what the RAZR will have in this area.

Yep, it's easily the worst part of a moto phone. If taking pictures with your phone is important to you, moto should be last on your list. They're among my first choices, but pics aren't important to me. I've had the OG and a Bionic and played with an X and they all took awful pics and took FOREVER to process.
 
Well, here's something that leans towards an earlier release date for the RAZR:

They're saying it's in stock over there on November 1 (UK).

Reason I bring it up is because I know some here want to play with both devices before making a final decision, but also because the earlier the better (if Verizon is waiting on razr's release before announcing a firm launch date for our baby).

YodaDroid is also hinting it's earlier than November 3.

Here's hoping we are pleasantly surprised and the SGN comes out before the 10th!

we're pvt chatting on twitter about it.. just conjecture. Mr(s) source says 299 for 32 gb, however.

From what I've seen the SGN camera is really, really good and as a photographer its one of the most important parts of the phone to me.

I am constantly taking pictures with my phone for when I don't have my camera with me. I love remembering things through photos.
 
I bought a Charge hoping to use in place of my Thunderbolt. All I did was drop my SIM into the charge and it activated right up. Just had to do the set up after that.

I kept my TB on the charger and and just pulled the sim from the Charge and back into the TB and it fired right up.

If you go from a 4GLTE to a 3G phone and back to a 4GLTE you will need a new SIM card as they are only 1 time programmable.

Not using the phone I can say I like the placement of the lens over the OG. I could never get used to it and was always fingering it.
