So i already have my ROM saved to root. I have superwipe ready. And just did my nandroid. So I just boot to recovery, flash superwipe, flash rom from SD and reboot right? Sorry I'm extremely nervous...

sorry, i zoned out.

You have made your nan, good. have you saved apps as well, with titanium or other prog?

Yes, you want to install zip, the superwipe. I usually do it a few times. You also want to go to wipe, and wipe cache and dalvik cache and data, a few times.

Then you want to install zip again, and choose your rom. confirm it, then just kick back and relax, leave it alone for a while and let it do it's thing.

One last question. If I hate the rom for whatever reason, can u get back to stock thru my nandroid or will I need to flash the stock rom?
If I need yo flash stock, is it the one in the op named shipped supersonic?

So, STK, how are you doing over there? What rom did you decide to try?

Is it a sense rom or an aosp rom?

If it is the latter, you will need to flash the gapps file, as well.

If you have made the nandroid, like you said, you can go right back to it.

Has anyone had any bad experiences using UOT Kitchen on any of these roms?
I've successfully used UOT Kitchen on several of these ROMs. All UOT kitchen does is modify the frameworks and frameworks are used on all android devices. I would think the UOT kitchen would work for any android device, but don't try to use a theme designed for phone A on phone B, the frameworks may be different.

EDIT: Make sure to make a nandroid backup before flashing a new theme. It only takes a minute and can save your phone if something goes wrong.

it uses the xperia launcher but the base is cm7
I just downloaded Tiamat_Evo-v4.1.0-sbc and will flash in a few minutes. So it's best to run a kernel for a few days before passing judgment? Should we treat the ROM the same (a few days) before judging battery life? Any other bits of wisdom that you care to pass on?

yeah i always give the rom/kernel combo to settle in.

for some reason though i can't flash 4.1 tiamat with this rom. i'm getting bootloops with it. i can flash the tiamat 4.1 on previous versions and on other roms as well. not sure what is going on.

Glad you said that, I hadn't flashed Tiamat 4.1.0 yet. I'll hold off for now. I wonder if 4.0.9 works.

well you can try it. do not let me stop you. it could just be my phone. try it out and see if you ca get it going. it is a great kernel otherwise. this is the only rom i have had issues with it.

4.10 SBC is boot looping on me as well. It's a good thing I made a nandroid backup before flashing the kernel.
