Still there. Just says limited time. I don't think anyone knows for sure how long it will last. If I was you I might do the rent-a-razr deal to make sure I got locked in for the data but I'd have to absolutely make sure that I could return it when the SGN finally releases if it is activated. If VZW is dropping the extended return period to 14 days once the phone is activated that could be a problem.
 
Y'know, I'm as frustrated with all of this as anyone (well, OK, maybe not, since I've seen some MAJOR angst on this forum) ... but I think it's worth remembering one important fact: we don't know when this phone is coming out, and we have never known. And the main reason for that is because Verizon doesn't know either.

In other words, we can't know the release date yet, because there isn't one to know. The most recent info from our sources support this. Multiple dates are still in play, and nobody -- not even Verizon -- yet knows what is going to happen. We can try to analyze the rumors and weigh the probabilities, but what's the point? As Gertrude Stein said, "there is no there there."

The leaks give us some insight into Verizon's decision-making process, and by all accounts it's an ugly and disorganized process. (See, there are good reasons why Verizon keeps this stuff to themselves!) But that's all it is. It's not productive to try to read more significance into it.

So I'm not planning on 12/1. I'm also not planning on 12/8. I'm not making any specific plans about when I'm going to get this phone. I'm still waiting to hear when it's coming out, just like I have been for a month.

I'm sure it does. They can't sell a (briefly) used phone as new, and I think used phones are usually discounted by $50 or more. I'll take advantage of return/exchange policies as needed, but I won't make a purchase knowing I won't keep the item.



I was actually okay w/the Iraqi dinar reevaluation. Didn't affect my family at all.

Not really most people find something wrong with the phone to avoid the $35 restock fee Verizon then returns it back to the manufacturer for a refund. Ones that Verizon assumes to be working get refurbished and sent out as replacement warranty phones.
 
I've been looking forward to this phone for a while, but if it only has 16 gb and no sd slot I think I'm going to get a phone to hold me over until the next big phones come out because my POS Eris won't last much longer.

All the test phones of the LTE version were 32GB. But I wouldn't put it past VZW to charge $299 for 16GB at the rate they are going. I have decided, I won't buy it if they pull that. I am tired of their crap with this phone.

I thought at one point either P3D or BMX had a 16gb test model. I could be wrong though.
 
Oh god you guys I just had a sudden realization that when Verizon DOES announce the official release date, this thread will EXPLODE. Literally, the post rate will multiply like crazyyy. My heart will be racing :D

I don't remember seeing any phones testd that were 32Gb

Either that or 5 minutes after the official release this site will literally explode, never to be heard of again.
 
16GB shakes my resolve a bit. Can't lie to ya. 16 gig and a December release seriously makes me think I could wait for a Tegra 3 device.
 
Right now verizon is reading this thread.

"Well it looks like we might be able to get away with selling them 16GB models, but I don't know if they'll take the $299 price. Let's leak a shot of it at $279 and see what happens"


Note: This made me think of the costco leak, did that have memory size?
