CHANGED FROM AF ADDICT MIKESTONY
This just in, this photograph was taken just after the CEO and CFO of Verizon were asked about the GNex release date.

My best friend brought these to work today for me to try to take my sad away about not having my phone yet.
Still sad but chocolate makes it bearable. Lol.
If I could also put in a recommendation for a Trader Joe's product? My favorite ever (like crack, seriously):Those look good BabyBlues. My girlfriend and I just got hooked on their milk chocolate peanut butter cups. They are delicious and have very recently become our new favorite over their S'mores (also incredibly delicious, but after 3 months atop the list, we're sick of them).
The girlfriend hates mint, but I love it so I'll try out the Joe Joe's next![]()
Preach it, brotha!I'm seriously about to lose it waiting for this damn phone. I thought I was at my wits end last week, now I'm constantly refreshing this thread, droid life and phandroid. I thought my rent-a-razr would help but it hasn't.
My contacts at Verizon are as clueless about the release date as we are. My disdain for Verizon is growing by the second.
Many of us wondered why Google’s new flagship Galaxy Nexus doesn’t support Google Wallet, an NFC-based payment service that the company introduced a few months back. Since Google Wallet is only available in the United States at the moment, it makes sense that it isn’t supported on the HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. Google Wallet also will not be supported on Verizon Wireless’ version of the smartphone, however, which is set to launch early next month. While Verizon wouldn’t comment specifically on the Galaxy Nexus’ lack of support, the carrier did tell BGR that it is working toward some kind of mobile wallet service. Hit the break for more.
“We’re working to provide expanded services that will provide the best security and user experience in the market around m-commerce,” A Verizon Wireless spokesperson told BGR via email. “We expect to provide access to an open wallet when those goals are achieved.”
Hey guys. Just got my Nexus in the mail from Expansys and I was instantly enamored with it. You guys have way more patience than me, but I can assure you it's worth it.
One thing I wanted to share that I don't remember being said yet is there's an option in the browser under "Labs" that takes away the nav bar and replaces it with a quick menu. Just swipe in from the right or left. Leaves even more room for content. I thought it was pretty cool.

So here is some Google Wallet info from BGR and MoDaCo:
Galaxy Nexus and Google Wallet - Android @ MoDaCo
Google Wallet comes to Samsung Galaxy Nexus (unofficially)
Holy cats.
Another HD choice and if the following is true, already with ICS on release.
LG Nitro HD - Full phone specifications
Loving that Android choice, ftw.
Hi Gnexers!
I'm back from Real Life, wherein I stopped by Radio Shack for something. Their marquis sign read "$100 off Verizon smartphones" so I inquired about it. Turns out that promo INCLUDES Nexus!
That may help some folks out here who are tight for cash but still want to play Nexus with us!
So when Nexus hits the streets, there's a choice to be made:
Do I get a Launch Day phone with $50 loyalty discount? Or...
Do I wait till the Shack gets them and get $100 off?
Decisions, decisions...
9-1/2 days to go!

Nice! I guess the decision depends on how much later The Shack will get the GNex after it's (finally) released.Hi Gnexers!

My folks lived for awhile in Highlands, NJ. Nice little town right on the coast

Has anyone asked P3 if Google Wallet installs on his Verizon version? This would actually be a deal breaker for me.
well, i may, or may not have some information, i'm trying to verify/clarify what i was just e-mailed before i post anything up on here. I know that CSR's really aren't that helpful/knowledgeable about any sort of release information but at this point i'll take whatever i can get, and you all know what i mean, at this point any tid-bit is somewhat satisfying and adds some sort of optimism to the day (until it all crashes down as false and starts a riot/burns down half of the android forums neighborhood.)
I'll post what i get once i get it, hopefully soon(a few minutes).
It has to do with the rumor/phone call that one guy/girl got from Verizon talking about a pre-order starting tomorrow.

You are strictly prohibited from using the Mobile Wallet Application on a mobile device or Android operating system that has been modified or customized in any way.

The unlimited data grandfathering had better not be reversed or there will be trouble!
