You are missing the sales/marketing piece all together...think of it like any other product...there is competition out there. just like the xbox or PS3...if a company waits one more day that is ome more day someone else buys the competitions product. not everyone waits just because. we make up the minority who will wait and even some people in thei forum have switched to ATT already so if the die hards are switching then who wouldnt. The people that Verizon wants are people coming into their stores that currently have another carrier and they cant sway them to the Nexus if it is not on the shelves. EVERY CARRIER HAS ANDROID...Not every carrier has ICS yet...when you can market the latest and greatest it is a competitive advantage that no one else has. Holding the phone is only costing them sales...no other way to look at it.
Especially if they go past december 4th. Anyone who might have switched from AT&T is gonna see the Nitro and stay put.
