manager of my local BB mobile said stock was due in on the 11th. just like all the reports.
I haven't posted in a while but here is my story of visiting a Verizon store in Wichita Kansas. I went in and asked if he had any idea when the Galaxy Nexus was coming out. He said pretty sure it was either December 8th or 9th according to his regional manager. He is waiting for the phone. He claimed it was taking so long due to waiting on the final software update and wanting to make sure they could have plenty of stock for the phone. So who knows..........I was surprised the guy even had an answer because usually when I go into this Verizon store they are not the nicest people in the world so to speak.

Should be from google, I think that's the whole lure of a nexus phone.

The thing is fast and pops. I took a picture of the samsung galaxy nexus sign over and over again.. POP POP POP! No delay.I can't upload that to you because the phones were not operating on a network, just on wifi.

Awww Steven! You could have transferred the images from the GNex to your DX using bluetooth! I did that with the RAZR and Rezound with the in store displays. Now get in your car and get back to NYC!
Someone else might have suggested this, but I'm not going back over the last 1400 posts since your quickie review.

So last night I saw a new VZW Samsung commercial. I got real close to the TV to see if the GNex made a quick appearance, as this was supposed to be the one that the GNex was in. In one scene there is a reindeer made of phones, I didn't get a good enough look, but its possible the GNex was there... Anyone else see that one and want to comment?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I ran the numbers and we've still got a ways to go to break the DINC thread record.

while .08 is close, i think we can all agree that sustaining that level of posting for longer is a more difficult task as people fall off and get other phones instead of waiting or just get tired of vzw's crap, so in my mind, we're still champs

anyone know if that extra 1850mAh battery has the NFC in it? otherwise I dont think its as good a deal as people are saying

The NFC chip isn't in the battery. The NFC antenna is in the battery. Two different things. And since the battery that comes in the kit is a Samsung branded battery, basically a copy of the one you get with the phone, yes, it will have the NFC antenna in it.
