Werd! Since you're obviously no fan of the Tide, I take it you're an Auburn fan?

No, I'm a Mississippi State fan. The Tide is one of our rivals because MSU and Bama are the two closest schools by distance in the SEC. 82 miles on HWY 82. The other reason I'm pulling for y'all is your rival with our other rivals...Ole Miss (aka TSUN aka the school up north):D

Other Device OT

Following this launch has really made me see the use for tablets. Before this, I enjoyed them, but always found tablets to be gimmicky fun, just another device for a company to take our money for. But checking this thread on my phone has gotten tough, not to mention battery draining, and sitting on the couch, checking my laptop, opening and closing it, moving it, has just gotten annoying. It made me think, wow, I really wish I had something that performed as a laptop, but was as convenient as my phone with a bigger screen. Looks like a tablet of some sort is in my future.

This is the link I use for accessories: Set Your Location

Wow, slow thread today. Anything on the PR side?

I walked into Best Buy last night to buy a Logitech Harmony remote for my stuff, and took a look at the tablets they had for sale. Made my itch for the TP a bit stronger.

I actually thought about just holding off on the SGN and snatching up the TP instead, and wait for the SGN to go on sale.

Crazy.

right?

Ok so I am confused now. Why are we excited about generic accessories showing up that have nothing to do with the phone? If it showed actual batteries, cases, etc I would be interested but generic headphones don't seem to mean anything to me. Am I missing something?

Clinically Insane. ALthough I will say using a ReZound makes my 1st gen ipad feel like it's running through molasses.

While cases are being discussed, anyone know of a lightweight (thin) bumper case, like the bumper iPhone case?

I want to leave my screen and back uncovered but find the phone a little slippery and am paranoid I'll drop it. I'd like an ultra thin silicone bumper, just to add some extra grip.

thats is the one thing i love about the I-Phone. That bumper set-up is how it should be. Protects phone but you barely notice it's there.

I have wanted one for every phone i owned. But i think it's impossible because in order for them to really work the phone has the be square (side). it can't be rounded like ours will be.

But i wish sombody would make one like the bemper type

Tablets OT
I am also starting to convince myself that I need a tablet. My laptop is a goner and I need something for portable computing, so I am seriously thinking about Transformer Prime. The question I have for anyone is this: how is the tablet optimized app selection looking these days?

Does anyone know why the Windsock has his knickers in a twist over it being Monday? Anything on the rumor front for today?

It's looking that way. I'd be more surprised if Verizon did NOT disappoint us at this point.

Haha yeah. I've been called a downer in this thread many times, but really I just am tired of seeing this same scene play out over and over:

1) A new rumored date with one or two leaked documents to potentially support it pops up
2) Anonymous sources "confirm" the date
3) Three days away from said date, STILL no pre-order, no substantial leaks, and not a single bit of information from Verizon.
4) The next 'likely' date is rumored.
5) Repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.
