Can you remind me if he made that statement 2 or three weeks ago...Either way his latest comment is just ( likely the last hopefully) in what have been a series of back and forth flip flopping. He has left himself more loopholes than a big corporation has to evade environmental policy, lol! He has gone back and forth, up, down, and sideways with all his dates so many times that he is pretty much covered- especially if he didn't use the word literally regarding his eating of a phone...

Actually the responsible thing is to do what I did. I let you know MORE information than you knew but I did NOT put anyone's job on the line.

I confirmed for us that at least ONE Corporate Store has them enroute.

I confirmed that they will be in THAT ONE Corporate Store on Thursday.

I confirmed that I COULD have had one delivered at my doorstep on Thursday and had it ORDERED today.

Sorry you didn't want to know those things but others might.

Thank you for the news! I hate to sound like a newbie, but what does she mean shipped out on release day? If they are a corporate store, can I just go pick it up on release day?
 
Haha, well I called my local store. "Sorry, we don't have any information on the Galaxy Nexus release date". :rolleyes:

I was half tempted to say, you will. :D
 
Friday?! This makes the rest of the week go slow. On a plus side, I'm off Friday. I was worried about it releasing on thursday, and them being sold out by the time I was done with work.
 
Just called a different corp store I asked if he knew what the release date is, "he says it's not official yet but it's looking like Friday" I asked him if there was going to be any pre orders "he said no first come first serve" I asked if they already had them in stock and he laughed and said we aren't supposed to say, then he said hold on, came back and said my district manager says it will launch Friday.

I've been curious about this as well. I wish it were true, but if not, and we ask nicely enough, they might not activate it and allow us to just take it home to open it with our own grubby little hands.

I think the key is they are accepting payment, and therefore reserving your phone. This would be important if there were a run on them and getting one was difficult.

I'm the opposite. somebody decided that I need to work through lunch on friday :mad: so thursday is my only shot until sat and Im getting a little worried they will sell out
 
I wonder if I can persuade my corporate store guy to sell me the SGN on Thursday instead of Friday? I'll text him and ask.

OFF TOPIC:

As much as I hate seeing the Bears season go down the drain, Forte should take his sweet time coming back. The Bears didn't want to pay him, so why should he risk his health to help them? Frakking penny pinchers.
 
I know this has been asked a thousand times, but if when logging on to vzw I see that I can get the razr or rezound for $250, does that discount reflect if bought in store?
