Aw damn.

My going-away gift as I'm leaving work is the news that I have to be in Court all frakking Friday instead of just the morning.

Yup just got confirmation there in stock in Delaware
I called christana mall store.
They got them just can't sell them.
She said all they can do is sell them when there launched and it's first come first served no pre order.

A sales lady came up to me placed a Galaxy Nexus on the table. Not even activated yet, it was on wifi. I played with it, it feels so good in the hand and is REALLY thin, the screen looks AMAZING. The sound however... Oh man I'm glad I got to hold it! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Anyway, she then preceded to ask where I work and if I want to go out sometime.
I'm 15 years old and I guess look old for my age? I just kinda smiled and changed subject.

Anyway, she put me down on reserve, gave me a business card, and then wrote her personal phone # on the back.
Maybe she was messing with me?

The 9th is definitely it and damn if I don't try to talk her into it early. They got their shipments.

You should have accepted the "date" and coaxed a GNex out of her...!
 
Why is no one else concerned that this is only available in a picture format? Shouldn't we all want to see this live online???

EDIT: Oh its internal, nothings confirmed yet then :/
 
First thing: When I shut my laptop off last night this place was on page 1258.

Second thing: My Verizon Store experience 2 hours ago...


Me: Are you going to have the Nexus on Friday?
Rep: I can't say yes or no to that question.
Me: Really? You probably have them in the back?
Rep: I can't say yes or no to that question because I could lose my job.

(ongoing convo between us about adding my mom)

Rep: I can take your name and number and call you when we have them and let you know when it goes on sale.

As I'm leaving the store....

Rep: We will be calling you very soon with the Nexus goodness news. But not as soon as you walk out the door.

Keep in mind that the whole time she was talking to me she was smiling and giggling/laughing every time I asked her about the Nexus and spoke of it.


That is all the conformation I need :)

She said it was the unit that they were going to put on demo, it seems I have a decently laid back store, I wish I could have gotten pictures.

I might test my luck getting it Thursday.


It's screen is just so nice.


The volume is god awful though, maybe I'm just spoiled by my OG droid though.

thats the internal vzw system, you cant view that online
