Better or Worse would be an opinion I guess...but the GNex screen curve isn't as much as the Nexus S...keep in mind i've only handled a friend's Nexus S a couple times and the GNex for only about 5 or so minutes...personally from my experience though I liked the GNex's subtle and natural curve over the Nexus S...IMO

Thanks for the tip! I wouldn't have thought of that, but it's a great idea! Is switching phones on VZ as easy as it was on Helio? Yes.. I said Helio! :P I had the Ocean that I loved but it was too big so I had a slim (forget the name) for when I went out or wanted a badass flip. You could swap phones on the website as easy as a few clicks and seconds!

You had the slim Samsung? I did the exact same thing. And the Ocean's integrated message and mail center was very advanced and nothing to apologize for - Android would do very well to adopt it.

Good question about Verizon allowing easy swap out like that.
 
Hmmm... well 4G service is restored... Verizon MIGHT put the launch back on track. I hope that was what delayed it, for two reasons.

1) It was a temporary delay

2) Verizon lost millions of dollars, and anything that makes them suffer at this point is fine by me!

Heyyyy, similar to my setup: Stock i7-870 on P55-GD85 w/8GB of low voltage DDR3-1600. Still loving it!

Thats a good point. I loved the Nexus S but felt it was a little unnatural feeling with the curve...

OK, going back to lurking and repeatedly pressing F5, much like I have for the past few weeks.

Oh and I am also rocking the OG. Well not so much rocking, but barely holding it together.

That's right! I forgot it was a Samsung Fin. It was the slimmest phone out there for a while, I loved that baby until I spilled water on it during some late night wrestling... After that the keypad didn't like to do anything put push '5'

Anyway - Not sure what altimax98 means.. Droid can't take a sim card. IIRC it really is just a quick programming call with the new phone and they service swaps over after a few minutes but I'd love recent confirmation if anyone knows.

Man I have 2 finals left this week and all I can do is refresh and try and keep up with this thread. I need to be studying but oh well it can wait. I sure hope to get my nexus on Friday but that sure doesn't look to promising right now. Anyone have a reliable contact that can tell us when transpires in the meeting tomorrow am?
 
Well I have just been lurking the last hour, and now time for bed. I have a feeling Steven is in a slightly good mood tonight, so nobody screw that up.
