Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

PRL switching is a sketchy art. I switched to a different PRL but gained nothing. I live in NJ. So I switched back to the stork PRL. I cannot remember the number of the PRL but supposedly it was Sprint's corporate customer PRL. I used it for about a month and didn't see any difference. I've never had problems with Boost even before I knew about all the PRL business.
 
Have a question for you guys, I'm pretty new at these root, flash, rom stuff.

On Black Friday got my first prevail, after a few hour I was out of space and start to search for solutions for this problem and found this beautiful forum and start reading about rooting and flashing, now I have my prevail rooted with "The Best Rom" installed "CTRom 2.4" Amazing... Bloodawn you're the Best...sorry I got carry away, BTW, this is my firt post.

My question now is that I'm running out of space on my sd card (2g)
I have partitioned and move my apps and dalvik cahe to the card with A2sd.
What is the best way to move everything to a bigger card???
 
yeah i am running 1115 and it is the best result i had between ..stock boost prl ..a few 60xx prls and even a few 11xx prls..i tryed quite a few

also im pretty sure prls begining with 11 are bussiness related..ie 11114,11115
 
Hello, great ROM but how do I re-enable the lower right magnifying glass button or map it for google search? It works inside of apps but not at the home screen. Thanks

ok the easiest way to move things on your sd card, plug into the computer open the sd card as mass storage and copy them to your computer.

The ext partition is a bit trickier though, unless your running linux or using a program that can read linux file systems you cant even see it in windows.

Your best option for that is to use cwm and back up the phone. it has a sdext back up option. or technically it has advanced restore and restores the ext information.

Then after you have copied them to computer and backed up info you will put new sd card in boot into recovery and format it. 0 swap choose the size of the ext, under 1024 works best. 768 might be ideal.
after its formated you will go to advanced restore and restore the ext then open the mount menu and mount usb then copy all the stuff back to sd then reboot into android.

You gotta add GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk back

Sometimes I am at a loss for words. But, I do not want to piss off any of you folks that have put in some real effort. I do not think that taking your rom (or anyone else's) is quite ethical, even under the the gpl.

I just thought a nice transparent skin, along with the keyboard from ct 2.1 or 2.2 would be nice. I have it now installed, per your instructions, but I would not post it as a NEW rom.

I don't mind working on images, but it is the details that drive me crazy. I am studying to be a librarian.

I think this is exactly what I was looking for... thanks...

It is... I use Zeam with the action bindings for double tap to display status/notifications. then swipe down, perfect. works nice. thank you! Love the transparency! Wish I could make market icons behave (Caffeine and other apps). Thank you Bloodawn.
 
hey blood.. could you please post standard ctmod 2.4 wallpaper? i was messing with adw themes and dont know if i deleted it or what..or if you had ctmod and kouma kernel in same wallpaper thatd be sweet...apreciate it if possible

Yes I think there's a brightness option, left to right.

wifi
upload download internet
brightness should be or that's what I understood it to be..
bluetooth
volume
