Sometimes when I turn off my screen it looks like an old TV turning off, does that happen to anybody else? I mean I'm not really complaining cuz it looks cool as hell but I'm jus wondering if that's a bad thing.

It's the lockscreen's crt animation.

I mentioned it yesterday. It's not fully working. It happens when you turn on and off the screen on the lock screen. It's supposed to happen each time you turn the phone off at the lock screen.

Haha thanks guys truthfully I didn't kno what you guys were talking about so I didn't even bother putting my two cents in, but once again thanks for the clarification now I kno for future reference.

I love this place I learn something new almost everyday :)

Edit: but yes Demon you are correct it only works when it wants to :p

Can you upload the lights file so others can add it to the 4/22 build also? Thanks
 
Just to clarify.

The lights file is from our stock rom.
It will cause the backlight on the roms built from bob's tree.

Pushing the lights file from bob's latest to the 4/22 will not fix the backlight problem.

There's no "real" fix yet.

Yeah I know but I've had way too many reboots and crashes on this new build and Facebook isn't working either. Really hope this gets fixed on the next build though, Bob (and everyone else contributing) is doing an awesome job.

Bugs I think my phone is ova heating Cruz it gets very hot
I really am getting 4g speeds not 4g connection bt I'm cool wit that
O yea lots of force closes and Facebook won't stay open

O my phone is getting hot because wen I try to lock the screen the back light stays on
 
I'm on the newest build. (4/28)

Random reboots. No sign of recreate action to trigger it.
Some force closes on any app really.
GPS won't lock onto my position.
Call volume still too low.
Backlight staying on sometimes for the lockscreen. Happens when the CRT animation appears.

Everything else other than those is working fine. Don't know about the echo because I barely call anyone. 4G is working for me but the indicator is still at 1x which I don't mind.

Cm10 built in tethering works just fine, its in settings>more>tethering and Portable hotspot, you can use WiFi,Bluetooth,or USB. I only tested WiFi but I'd assume the other 2 do too. Same restrictions as on stock though, you have to use the proxy or some other method to get around metros block, otherwise it just doesn't load anything. I connected with my tablet and ran a speed test, got about the same speeds as I get on the phone itself, 8mbps down, 3mbps up.
(And since people probably won't believe metros network can actually do that, http://www.imgur.com/2RNJEf2.png http://www.imgur.com/ng3EZPY.png I had 2 bars at the time of tests.)
 
Hey msnuser, are you in Lansing as well? Just curious cause i saw the server used, and thought maybe i could compare mine to yours from the same area.

Nah, I just use the Lansing server because its one of the best in the area, I live in Westland but that test was at a friends house in Monroe.

the facebook apk from here worked perfect on 4-28 for me as does facebook home and messenger http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232307 facebook home also works perfect on androidx86 if anybody here uses that.

Just a question when bobz fixes GPS and echo can app incompatibilites be fixed or are we out of luck some games I try to play are a black screen I can hear and click just can't see them and some won't launch not a big deal just wondering
