New theme released:


This theme will be updated as I find more changes between the JB and KitKat holo implementations. Right now it's basically just the status bar and the quick settings icons because I don't have a KitKat device to compare with. That will change when Google releases KitKat for my Nexus 7.

Checking into the TouchWiz launcher issue now.

EDIT: There was a typo in the updater script that caused it to install both Trebuchet and TouchWiz launcher when Trebuchet is selected as an option. This also caused TouchWiz launcher to not be installed when TouchWiz launcher was selected. Here is a flashable containing the TouchWiz Launcher and Widgets. Flash it after a full install. I will be uploading a new full zip that fixes this issue.
 
Just flashed Conquest 9 (Dominion) and everything went smoothly this time. Used custom settings, installed the google launcher and the performance kernel.
So many settings to customize! Awesome job! I will let you know if I run into any bugs. Will also be testing mms since I am on LTE.
 
I feel like I am missing something simple here but I have to ask. Is there a way to change the lock screen wallpaper? I cant seem to find any option to do so. I am really loving 9.0, great work.

What, you don't like my flame wallpaper? ;-)

From app drawer:
  1. Settings
  2. Display
  3. Wallpaper
  4. Lockscreen or Home and Lockscreen

Only works if you installed one of the presets or chose to install TouchWiz camera/gallery during customization.

Try a different client. Ttorrent works for me. On 3g you should be getting 50k at least. (If you're having trouble with torrents in general.)
 
I have only run into one issue so far and that is GPS not working.

Edit: nevermind, it fixed itself after a reboot. Will let you know if it happens again, but I have a feeling it was just things settling after installing sd swap and link2sd :)
 
Is anyone a Touchwiz Launcher user in here? If yes, please tell me if it affects the performance of the phone on Dominion? I really like the performance on the default launcher on Plutonium. Thanks
 
I had done a full wipe to get to 9.0 this time. An issue I had seen for many revisions, but I had assume it was my lack of wiping, is that the "alerts on call" toggle in the call settings is not respected. It was working with stock and victorious.

Since I have vibrate turned on for my notifications, I can't tell you how many times I have to explain to the person on the line the loud rubbing noise is really me getting email...

The default launcher from Plutonium was Trebuchet. It's still available via custom install under Dominion. Dominion's default launcher is Google Home, which I find to be quite snappy on my phone. The TouchWiz launcher should perform roughly similar on this release to stock.

According to the description of this setting, "Alarm and message notifications will sound during calls" when checked. If I am to take this literally, I cannot expect this setting to affect vibration. Anybody have a problem with this setting not being respected for notification sounds?
 
I feel like I should get a complimentary Jem'Hadar squad when I install 9.0... :-p Or maybe a Founder to follow me around and give people orders. I'll try it out later.

Have you looked into LIghtflow? I use it to nitpick and precisely control each notification on my device, though I"ve yet to figure out why Titanium Backup will vibrate for a full 30 seconds straight at 2am...

Scheduled backup? There's a default one included in TB for 2:00am (redo backup for modified data). Possibly this got enabled by mistake?
 
It's a scheduled backup and its not your ROM- I know that much :p Its something in the notification settings itself that makes it go insane at 2AM when mys cheduled backup hits. For now I just disabled TiBa's vibration/light altogether since I don't really need anything beyond a "Pass/Fail" from it. Entirely unrelated to the ROM- Lightflow was just a control idea for him to turn off vibrations or on. I use it on my Victory

Indeed, it appears this now controls only the sound notifications. It was doing vibration too... I guess I have to live with an ear massage any time I get an email.

Oops. Looks like I never hit "submit" yesterday while I was updating the OP. It's fixed now. That's what I get for trying to post updates from my phone, I guess. Thanks, TeachMe, for posting that link. (EDIT: Looks like I posted the wrong DATE for the changelog yesterday, too.)

Just to clear up any possible confusion, 9.0a is not an update release. It is simply 9.0 with a correction to the updater-script in the installer that allows you to install the Trebuchet and/or TouchWiz launcher properly.
