My girlfriend has a rooted Verizon LG G2. Is there a way to install the OTA update without bricking the phone or, alternately, is there a way to stop the OTA updates?

I just upgraded from the Ascend to the Mercury today and, so far, I am loving the phone. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for a newbie?

My Ascend is rooted but not modded and, for some reason, the wi-fi is not working at all. I go into Settings | Wireless & networks and click on Wi-Fi to turn it on and it won't turn on. Can anyone help?

I followed the instructions to do a factory reset on my phone and now I only have access to the dialer. If I try to go to the desktop, it's completely blank. It is as if no launcher is installed. Can anyone help?

I am pulling my hair out here. I have set up a 2nd partition on my card, formatted as FAT32, set as primary but Link2SD won't recognize it. What am I doing wrong? ARGHHHHHHH! Scratch that, I figured it out.

The BW weather clock freezes on me occasionally and doesn't update the time. Anyone know why it does this and how to fix it?
