Using headphones is fine but I also connect mine to car radio via aux socket and it just isn't load enough. I've tried a few apps on play but none of them seem to work. Any suggestions? Do I need to root my phone first?

Get this quite a bit now. I try to use the phone and screen just wont switch on - totally blank. Got to remove battery and reset. Even if I rings I can hear the phone ringing but I cant get the screen to come on to answer the call. Any ideas?

Just started getting this.... Apps suddenly started closing unexpectedly. Reboot - no change. Got a message saying database storage is getting low but I cant get anything to stay active long enoiugh to clear anything?

Plug in my Galaxy and sometimes it just completely fails to charge. Tried different charger/usb cable but it doesnt make any difference. Any ideas?

Used to work fine with CoPilot and then one day it didnt work too well. Since upgraded to Gingerbread but it makes no difference. Tried a few GPS test apps and it looks like it can no longer find satellites and keep lock on them. GPS screwed?

OK. Upgraded to gingerbread. If I wanted to factory reset, is there an app out there that I can backup everything (email, phone log, messages, apps, app settings) and then just run to restore the whole lot?

Used to work absolutely fine. Now I find its completely useless. GPS loses sync, jumps around etc. Recently updated to latest Gingerbread but made no difference. Wonder if its app or fault with my GPS. Any ideas?

Do I have to? To be honest, I really dont see the point of an upgrade where you have to start from scratch again. I work in IT and I'd get hung, drawn, and quartered if I suggested to a customer that an upgrade would mean re-installing from scratch !!!!!

Official cable works OK - obviously. Connects phone to PC and also charges when connected via USB. Bought a cheap cable off ebay. Works fine for transferring files and even though the charge symbol is on the phone it doesnt seem to charge. Am I right in saying that its something like the cable...

Was working fine. Not done anything recently apart from download apps from marketplace. Anyway - powered off and on and it wont start up now. Samsung galaxy screen pops up, then the start up animation, then it displays the S in the middle of the screen and thats it. Any ideas whats going on /...

Yeh. Weird I know but wife likes using this with predictive text rather than a full qwerty keyboard. Is this even possible on the Defy?

Seen other people who have this problem where the galaxy blocks texts from one number..... Anyway, this was working. However, now I dont recieve any texts from this particular person. I can recieve off other people and they can successfully send to others just not me. Any ideas?

OK, at 2.1 at the moment and everythings running fine. Got OCLF running and its prety fast. If I upgrade to 2.2 am I going to have to do a reset and lose all my data and apps? Is there any way around this? What will I gain by going to 2.2?
