Dumb rule. They should not have called that and I'm a Steelers fan. However, they called a taunting penalty on a Steelers player a few years ago because he stood w/his arms folded. Such a dumb rule.
 
My Steelers look absolutely pitiful yesterday! Ben being out didn't help but their lack of quality play was evident in every facet of the game. Their half win (tie) is as good as a loss IMO. Looking that bad against the no win Lions tells a tale and it's not pretty. Even their defense, that they hang their hat on, looked disappointing.

My Chiefs looked more Chief like than they have most of this year. Their defense played a far better game and the offense play calls were well designed to take advantage of the Raider's defense. I hope they build on this win and it wasn't a fluke.

I managed to eek out a W in my fantasy league but took it on the chin in my pickem. It's that time of year where it is hard for me to call the games right. The fields of battle seem to become more even and players are nicked up or out. Oh well... love football!
 
My Chiefs handled Dallas today and that surprised me. Holding them to 9 points and five Dak sacks was a huge surprise.
My Steelers gave the Chargers a good game and that too was a surprise. The Steelers have so many injuries right now and the Chargers have Herbert. Ekeler had a heck of a game! Naturally I was facing him in my fantasy league. I wasn't expecting them to hang with the Chargers and sure didn't think we would have a chance at the end for a W.
 
Yeah my Boys looked soooo bad yesterday, we ended with only 1 receiver ( Gallup ) and he just got back on the roster from IRL.
 
Glad the Pats won on Thursday, but their real gains all came yesterday afternoon. I feel bad for all the teams going through a rebuild. Last year sucked. :p
 
I needed two points out of Brady and they sat him with six minutes to play. Not my week for fantasy football :)
That game would have been pretty boring without FF. There wasn't any doubt the outcome before the game started. It was good to see Gronk back.
 
As much of a Peyton fan I was, I never thought much of Eli. Though Rivers was a good QB, he didn't bring as much to the table as Herbert.
Herbert crosses ever T and dots all the I's of the modern day QBs. The day of the pocket passer are over and likely not to be seen again.
The game evolves and the QB has to be multi faceted to meet the demands of the complex offenses run today. Herbert is that guy. It won't be long before there isn't a Brady or Roethlisburger left in the league or I miss my guess.

But you have to remember that wasn't his idea, you can thank his father for that...... that was all on him.

oh please......eli was a young grown man at the time. i do understand that his father was a huge influence on where he went......but still.....F....Eli......sorry will always be a hater for it.
 
well my chargers will always be chargers.....we had such a golden opportunity to jump out ahead in the afc west. did we? NOPE!!!!!!!!

once again our defense could not stop the run.
