yeah.. i get very curious.. when a long time member gets banned... I want to know.. I am noisy that way...

but I am to lazy to research and try to read between the lines.. once the mods get rid of all evidence.



i also get into trouble with the mods from time to time... oh well.. it so hard to live between the lines and inside the box.

I was curious how a member who had visited my profile was banned and yet had not made any posts so what were they banned for? Just found that weird, the member was called VIAGRA so wondered if maybe they were a spammer of some kind but couldnt get why they were banned with no posts?

We try to respond to as many of those posts as we can as quickly as we can. The
report.gif
button is a HUGE help to us.

See any spam, rude or attacking posts by other members, links to pirated softare, etc? Please use that report button and a report is generated and sent to a place where mods are instantly notified. From there we can delete the spam and ban the spammer. If the issue is non-spam related, then we will review the situation and often times, discuss it with other mods to determine the best course of action.

If you report something and we don't feel like any moderation is required, we will not perform any action at that time. But don't think that we don't look at every single reported post because we do and we rely heavily on them. It is our greatest tool in keeping the forums running smoothly.

The Guides on this site report approximately 75% of all reported posts that come in (just my estimate) so if you see something that you think should be reported...please report it as I'm sure the Guides won't mind the extra help :)

button. Oh no...I'm THAT guy! :o

We do have a great staff here though. Just really good people all around. It's been that way since I first joined this forum. But I honestly think the staff is a byproduct of the user base here.

It was all the great users in the Droid 1 section that made me join in the first place. I was just lurking for awhile (as I always have done on forum sites) and learning from others. Eventually, I felt guilty when I would read a question that hadn't been answered yet because of how helpful everyone seemed to be. So I started trying to help out when I could and jump in on the discussions. Still don't think my wife is real pleased with that decision :D

The mods here are pretty awesome. And the Guides too. :p
 
i thought xda is very ... laxed on the rules.

so much is over looked there.. i feel bad for some members that get pushed around. i am sure some are even scared to post
