I hope the Padres make post season. I like rooting for them.
The Royals accidently won tonight putting up one run that was basically on an error in the tenth. The Royals and Tigers are tied and are both 7.5 games behind the Guardians and 2 games up on the Twins. Boston won in extra innings!
The Padres secured their post season spot by beating the Dodgers with a triple play to end the game. Woohoo!!!
The Guardians won. The Tigers won. The Royals won. The Twins are up five after eight and looking to win. Everything remains the same. I see Boston lost... boo.
They've been officially eliminated - season over.
On to Atlanta for me 'til the end comes!
I like the Padres so I'll be in their corner. I'll root for the Guardians I suppose. They owned the Royals all season and the ALC for that matter.
The Royals won again today. Where were these wins when we weren't desperate for them? The Tigers won as well so nothing has changed. The Royals need to take two of three at the Braves to see post season. I give them a 50-50 chance at best. It's sad they had it all but wrapped up and then couldn't perform. They deserve to to HOME. I hope they rise to the occasion however.

The Royals were shut out tonight. Imagine that....
The Twins lost tonight 2-7 to the Orioles which gifted an unearned playoff berth for the Royals. I read that it's only the second time in MLB history that a team that had over 100 loses the year prior made it to post season. The other team... the Twins. I'm very happy for the Royals but will admit to being embarrassed that they are in. I certainly have no expectations for any sort of post season run.

To Whom It May Concern: The Royals stink!
Pete Rose passed away today. He was quite likely the greatest player I've seen play the game. Maybe they will acknowledge that now that he is gone and honor him with a place in the HOF. I'm not saying he was a saint but his vices didn't enhance his field performance. Man what a player! RIP Charlie Hustle.
KC won the opener against the Baltimore one zip. I hope they find some offense. I doubt one run will win many games.
