Has anyone tried the LED settings on this? Does it work on the X?

Way back when, I know they merged a few utilities made for CM into the main release that allowed the Nexus trackball to glow various colors for notifications, similar to what Lightflow does - you could have one-after-the-other notifications, or mixed color notifications (e.g. blue email + yellow SMS = green trackball).

Does this work on the X notification LED?

seems to, I get LED notifications for text messages (blue, flashing) charging (green, steady) and email (green flashing)

I did, and everything works fine. You'll have to reinstall the CRT mod, however, since it gets lost when you update

It may work but have you checked to make sure you Sid not revert your framework back to an older version??

Oh fyi i tried installing fab's gb mt keyboard on cm7, no dice. You'll get a fc error every 3 seconds. Had to sbf and reinstall

You can install this via Rom Manager or reboot into CWR and flash zip there.

Someone PM me when CM7 is sorta stable. I totally have not been paying attention to whats been going on. So far all I can figure out is that theres an issue with superuser, at least 4 builds, no GPS, no Camera without 3rd party fix, no Crt and a bunch of user stuff.

I've been excited as hell since CM7 dropped, but currently dealing with some girlfriend issues and fell behind on all the developments.

Build #4 appears to have Navigation and Maps working, both worked first try.
CRT exists, you just have to flash it via R.M./CWR.
Camera and Netflix etc still broken.

problem solved installed all the nightlies and rebooted seems that nightlie #4 fixed the root problem and everything seems to be working fine so far

The issue where people were losing root was due to the superuser apk itself and NOT the CM7 Nightlies.
2.3.6.3 efgh resolves all loss of root issue.

for some reason i couldnt get super user 2.6.6.3 efgh after installed the first nightlie (#0) untill after i installed #4 not sure if i was doing something wrong i tried to update through super user and it kept saying intallation failed and gave me a root needed error but once i installed #4 it was fixed and it already had the updated super user

As long as one flashes 2.3.6.3 efgh before upgrading past build#0, you won't lose root.

Even though CM4DX's kernel is Froyo based, CM4DX as a system/OS is Gingerbread.
The version of SU.apk current at the time of release of CM4DX build#0 had a issue with ALL Gingerbread based rom's.

You can get the new recovery by installing/updating Rom Manager to latest in market, then opening R.M. & flashing the CWR afterwards....do this before updating to newer nightly build; and you will have the latest recovery.

If you plan to flash a build past build#0, you MUST flash the new superuser.apk (2.3.6.3 EFGH) FIRST, using R.M. or by booting into CWR

It all depends what system you have on your X, before moving forward.

.340?
.596 GB?
Or CM4DX build?

If you are already on Nightly Build#0,

I am on the original build which is what I'm assuming is Build 0. So my steps are flash the new Superuser, then the new recovery, then Nightky 4? And does this require the premium Rom Mananger? If it's just nightlies that's no problem, I'll just get it from the CM mirror site.
