Root [Boost Mobile] Let's Start A Team ROM!?

So I replaced the status bar icons in the hdpi, and it's crashing every second. perhaps I placed them in the wrong spot? nandroid, here I come.

Did you reboot? When ninjamorphing the status bar you ALWAYS have to battery pull to reboot. SystemUI.apk is just like that for some reason.
 
er...it kept telling me to force close, then popping up again, so i figured i just broke it and it's nandroid restoring now XD Sorry, I'll try it again in a minute.

Haha its cool it happened to me when I first started theming I was all frantic because I only had a week with my new Warp, I did a battery pull and felt real stupid after the phone rebooted :o
 
my attempts at applying the theme with ninja morph are like this smiley. :trytofly:

-I start, and everything looks like it's going well, get the "Files should have been replaced, now what?" thing from ninjamorph
-I finish, zip-align and the status bar force close notification appears, i do battery pull, and the work is undone.
-I finish, don't zip-align, status bar disappears, i reboot, and the work is undone.

Am i doing something wrong?:confused:
Actually, can I just c,p,overwrite the files from my computer through USB storage?


Skinny: your icons look really cool, and I can't wait to use them instead of what is already here. It's annoying not having any color showing if you have full connectivity or not. Good job man!

Yes you can c,p,overwrite using a computer, and you're not doing anything wrong... I remember when I was trying to theme noob rom that was one of the issues I had, but I also remember uninstall and install ninjamorph again fixed it. I think it was because something interrupted the building process.
 
Kinda like my own Project Butter, I'm trying to make everything go together better, and as I'm typing this on my Warp, I found another one... the 4G LTE icon isn't the same shade of blue as the signal meter... gonna have to fix it...

I'm doing it in my rom, it'd be kinda cool to see it in other roms too. Don't forget about the toast that pops up though, might wanna make it say something that goes along with the image... I forgot what smali file it was and where to find the Zombie art by Jack Larson text, I think merc remembers? I made a post earlier about it in another thread....

strings.xml for the text, frameworkres.apk for the android hidden version picture.
