I followed your directions and I now can change and set my ringtones. :) I can only change phone ringtone by going into the music player that came with the ROM or going into ZEDGE. IF I go through settings it will not work. For some reason I still can get my notification ringtones to work. I am thankful for your help.

I saw this on phandroid news and have been using it for a few days, no issues yet and things do open faster, I might include this in the rom in the future

the 1.1 apk, just opened the zip, moved the file to system/app and gave it the normal permissions and rebooted, after that you just open the app from the app drawer and turn it on, pretty slick...

he mentions implementing it via init.d, but I don't see clear instructions on how to do that.
 
I had a request for the stock browser and have added a zip to post three if anyone wants it, just install it through recovery.

I read about this last night. Does it really work?
 
Im getting random resets with VII on VI i never gota random reset but now im getting them a lot it is tolerable because it isnt as bad as a stock warp but please fix this. Sorry for the run on sentence
 
MrBobo can you tell me which test kernel you are running and whether or not you are using the zram script or the newer swap flash? I like the Seeder app as an add on to the ROM but I'm seeing more lag than I did before. I want to test in the same environment you are before saying yay or nay on this app.
 
I'm running seeder on MrBobo's version of N00bed CTmod ROM with its built-in AlienKernel and agree, that I have seen some improvement as well. To support the Seeder dev I paid the $1.25 for the app.

I don't want to clutter this thread up with it, it's a big discussion and seems to be leaning towards the app not being worth it at this point... I think there is an improvement, but then again I don't see a ton of lag on this ROM anyways LOL

I copied the fix that bloodawn posted for his systemUI, I tried it quickly and didn't get an error on UOT, here is the link to the updated systemUI, framework-res was fine I think. Let me know! No one needs to update to this, this is just a fix so you can use UOT Kitchen to theme the files if needed.

I will include this updated systemUI in the next version of n00b.
 
just tried to download n00b VII full got a bad zip error every time tried to install. i id redowload the rom multiple times. still no go

That's weird, Are you using the phone, or a pc? Also check the name of the download, any changes will also result in an error. :)
 
Wife has been using n00b VII now 17 hours 30 minutes and battery is 78% charged still that is with airplane mode and wifi on. With minimal usage.
 
She has a stock battery it is actually n0ve's old warp that he bricked I just switched out the motherboard from a crushed warp on ebay
