Also, if my wifes phone sits for a while and you push the power button to wake it up, it takes 5-10 seconds for the lock screen to load and then another 5 seconds for the lock screen to actually function. Any idea why this would be? We have the exact same phone purchased at the exact same time with the most recent version of OEM installed.

Most likely it's app load-down (as Skinny mentioned) or possibly you're running at two different CPU speeds?

I have been having this problem also, but only after running for a day or 2... after a reboot it is as good as new. This makes me think there could be a cache overload or something? Sometimes I try to wake up and the screen goes black before I even can enter a pin... Reboot, right back to fast again...
 
I think it just has to clear out the ram after a few days. I do it with my laptop, I can usually go a few weeks before I have to reboot instead of putting it in hibernation mode all the time.

It could be because of Power Nap script

Power nap has been modified to eliminate the wake up lag. Rebooting or wiping cache cures it. Dalvik doesn't seem to be part of the problem. I'm working on a Lil script as my first Android project to do some things cache related. Hopefully it will cure this lol but don't hold your breath! I'm new to this! Merc, I may have to hit you up for some advice and schooling lol

Actually, I think I already know what the issue might be. WOEM doesn't have anything in it (yet) to manage cache pressure, flushing and things of that ilk. I've been meaning to look into these things, but as always... time is so short :/

I'm probably gonna reflash this weekend. I need something fast and this rom boots faster than any rom on the warp that I know of. Do the Adreno tweaks work on this rom properly?
 
Well, my phone needed this, plus a reboot and a double cache clear, now she is flying again!!
 
I'm trying to download PowerNap v2 & the smoothness fix but when I click the link it says the file has been deleted or moved ... any suggestions on how/where to get these files?

I believe everything is built into the latest version. :) Except the adreno tweaks. :)

The removed file is somewhere in the change log in the OP, but if its a Smali file it requires recompiling of whatever apk its in to remove.
