Ok, Thanks, works great.
A few questions, though:
The main reason I did this, is I'm so tired of all the bloatware running all the time.
My phone. My memory. My CPU.
Yes I've read the little faq about android memory management & how task killers are bad. This is terrible programming practice & programmers that perpetuate it should find a new line of work.
512Megs of ram and constantly below 80 free, with only 1 non-oem app installed. Grumble, grumble...! Incoming phone calls sometimes crash my "phone" &^%$#^)(&!!!
So I was glad to see something that removed a lot of the bloatware.
Except it missed some.
Using 2.51 (and AdrenoBooster v0.7)
Main page sez:
Deleted:
-Google Play Books (BooksPhone.apk)
-Google Play Magazines (Magazines.apk)
-Google Play Music (Music2.apk along with its predecessor, Music.apk)
-Google Play Store (vending.apk – deleted in favor of the more recent Phonesky.apk)
-Google Plus (PlusOne.apk)
-Google Talk (replaced by Hangouts)
They're all still on my phone...
Music is especially troublesome, as it starts playing all by itself after some system alarms, and seems to like the doom theme music...
So I tried getting rid of them by "uninstall updates" & "disable automatic updates" Hope that'll work? Any futher suggestions are quite welcome.
