I downloaded it to a usb drive at the college. I gotta wait for my girl to get home with her work laptop to put it on my sd card. But I realized at school even with downthemachines non oc kernel I couldn't connect to wifi. It turns on and when you hit connect on a wifi it just tries to obtain the ip address but never connects. I didn't realize beta 3 itself has or had wifi issues
 
Yes. Wife and gps glitches. I was just wondering before i flash everythingagain and still have to go back to stock.

Lol ^^prinny you crazy. I'm still using the original beta 3. But I flashed downthemachines non oc kernel cuz I was using oc. But my wifi won't connect. I'm going to try the updated beta 3 later when I can get it off my usb drive. My wireless tether works, thats all that matters to me. I never really use wifi. :rolleyes:

No you don't have to go back to stock if you're already using beta 3. Just clear both caches then flash the new beta3, then fix permissions then reboot. And your all set. Then restore your apps with titanium backup
 
Nice one prinny. Lol. But i guess what im getting at is I'm not flashing back from stock unless i can use it without rebooting and pressing up, down, left, left, right,up,up, down, up lol . Its too much work

I've never heard anyone describe flashing a rom as too much work. There is a free app called rebooter and most roms have it in the power menu, that can send you into cwm with the push of a button. Then clear 2 caches (30 seconds), then install zip 40 seconds or so) then fix permissions (10 seconds). Then reboot about 2 minutes) . Pheww wipe the sweat off, that was hard work :banghead::D

Unless you're on b08c then you need to flash to b08 with the stock roms Apollostar kindly provided that still need to be put up as a sticky
 
Flashing it isnt the problem using wifi and gps without rebooting or something else is. I rely on both heavily. Without them both working flawlessly, its a deal breaker

Thats what we are talking about. The new beta3 is supposed to fix that. That was a problem and once the developer is informed of problems they look to fix them. That's why it's beta. It's still improving and however better than stock but it's our job to inform developer's of problems we find so they can fix them

The base font colors are in both colors.xml and styles.xml... I just changed some of them on my rom the other day but I haven't tried compiling yet so I have no idea what I changed and if it worked...

Oh I see. I can't do that I can mess with PNG but that's about it.is it possible to make a flashable fix?,and thanks for the reply.

I can make a flashable but it would be a hit and miss deal since i have no way to check the changes. if i change the font i will change it to #ff808080, which is gray.

I flashed the beta 3 link from the shin rom page and my wifi setting still wouldn't stick.....

Thats means it's not fixed yet, shin has some problems right now warp is dead. So he's not going to be able to do much until he has a new one. His phone broke like 2 days after beta 3 came out. So you have options. You can use shinjitsu beta2 which was awesome as well. Or you can go stock or you could use a different rom. But I suggest beta2 because I only deal with shinjitsu :thumbup:

Well I used out kitchen.it fixed some stuff .but its mainly just pop up screen. If you wanna wait till you can test that's fine, I am sure you will get enough donations for a new warp soon.

BTW: Massive thanks to Quoros for his donation of a new WARP!!! and thanks to all the people who donated to help me in my time of need. Your donations will not go unused, they will be used to get a developer to code some custom stuff for our rom. Including a custom settings menu, a custom flashlight app, and a new lockscreen i will be providing
 
I will be sending a donation as soon as I get out. Glad to hear you got a new warp can't wait to see what kind of custom things will be coming to this, it by far the best rom I've tried
