More then likely this rom would have to be manually themed from here on. I think i have changed way to much stuff that if you used UOT it would cause your phone to bootloop.

BTW, i will upload a fix for the settings tomorrow. I have to go to sleep for now.

I changed battery using uot everything is good no bootloop

Unfortunetly, my next upload will be the last. My phone has finally died and succumb to the milk that was spilled on it weeks ago. I went to reboot, it shut down lile normal. Hasnt come back on since, i fear my days of development are over.

I'm not sure if UOT kitchen has the battery icons...as far as the lock screen...I think those are unique for shins rom...but he'd have to answer that part...I would browse UOT and see what you can do. Or manually theme it. Gimp FTW

UOT has several different battery icon sets, some of which include the state of charge percentage superimposed over the battery icon :)

Unfortunately, my next upload will be the last. My phone has finally died and succumb to the milk that was spilled on it weeks ago. I went to reboot, it shut down like normal. Hasn't come back on since, i fear my days of development are over.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

That sucks. That sinking feeling you get when you realize your hardware is meeting its end is definitely not fun... :( It reminds me of the days when I had my old I1... and then subsequently killed it lol

Well, I must say thank you so much for all your contributions to the Warp platform! I think I can speak for the majority of us when I say you have achieved nothing short of awesomeness for our humble little phone. Little portions of Shinjitsu will live on in almost every decent ROM made for the Warp henceforth :)

I'm sure we have enough generous members to donate including myself (although it probably won't be much) to help get you another Warp. That is, if you would like another one. You have worked way too hard on this phone to give up now. But if it's your time to go then I'm sorry to hear that. I would just like to thank you for all of your hard work for providing me and also many others on here for an epic ROM.

Yeah, that's the spirit! *ahem, cough* Just sayin...

The economy sucks, so i dont expect to get to many donations. The warp forums is pretty dry. Lol i would love to be able to continue if i had another warp.

Go buy 99% denatured alcohol. Take the battery out and remove the case and back cover. Submerge it completely in that for a little while.

Take it out of that. Let it dry for a while. Voila.

99% is non conductive and the phone can actually RUN with it submerged. It will wash out whatever milk you have in it out, and when drying it will simply evaporate quickly as alcohol does.

Like warp flashlight.I tried to uninstall it from applications then manage apps

I'm interested in seeing you resolve this. Do you think it's an app issue or rom issue or?? Can you be specific on what's happening when you try and uninstall it.

If there is something I can change, someone let me know. I've had lots of testers (and non-testers) install and uninstall->update with no problems. Odd.

What i mean is if i hit the power button nothing happens. No red light no green android. The phone is a paperweight now. Tried two diff batteries. Even if i plug it up to a charger. No red led its complete trash.

I think what blackbolt suggested is a great idea. You should at least give it a try. Milk could be causing a short and not letting it power up. I have 2 boys at home,4yr old and 16mnth old, My directv hddvr took a direct hit with a can of my dew that the 16 month old poored all over it. It would not come on. They were going to replace it, but I would loose all of my shows O had recorded, so I voided the warranty opened it up, used qtips and 99%ach cleaned the circuit boards and has worked great ever since.

Nawh i think shin is right. What you say with the alcohol is true, I've dropped many at&t phones in water, all I had to do was put it in rice or alcohol for a day and its good. But in shins case if there was a short and the milk affected the wiring, no remedy will cure the wires unless they are replaced which is impossible. Sadly all i can say is if you get a new phone I would go for the new HTC that looks nice, or if this accident happens a lot go for the new waterproof phone XD

Nooo not the HTC. It has the memory of the prevail and ram. I'm not interested in the name brand phones from boost until they have been out for awhile. Anyway this is so sad. That's why I never want children, I would have lost it:eek::mad:

Two options for you.

1. You can try to pull it apart first before you buy a new one (that way if there's something loose, you can reconnect it instead of buying a new one)

2. You can buy a new one.

Hope you don't have to buy a new one, cuz that would really suck :(

The milk got spilled on it over a week ago, I took it apart and cleaned it. it worked fine until last night. I rebooted and bam nothing, its completely dead

EDIT: Alcohol was a no go phone is still dead

As much of a tragedy as thi is, and you "do" have my sympathy. I'm still curious if the fix for the gps is coming, or Should I switch to another rom so I can navigate without hassle?

Kids aren't that bad. They have accidents. Just like we all do. My wife dropped a 20 oz soda on the computer before I realized it was covered in it. LOL I have destroyed a couple xboxs with liquids and bumping them around.

Sure it's costly but so is life.

Anyway, Shin.. I remember you saying after the milk spill you replaced the internals of your phone with an older bricked one. Have you gone back through to make sure everything is still connected the way it should be? Maybe you can Frankenstein the phones again but using this phone with the bricked one as the base??

Just an idea. I am sorry about your phone loss. As a techy I know it's pretty upsetting. :(

I only replaced the lcd from the bricked phone. The board and all was from the one that got milk on it.

Yea i will upload the fix later today. If i can raise 50-60 i can get another one and continue working on this rom.

Atleast i still have my tablet (Knock on wood).

You know if I had a dollar for every time I broke something in a drunken stupor...I'd be pretty loaded...there's a hole in my original Xbox from stepping on it...

Sorry about your loss though shin. Its never fun when something breaks and whatever you decide to do, I wish you good luck! (Though I do want you sticking around here haha)

I'm in to help you out Shin. Donate to paypal?
