my device tree n kernel src is on github, feel free to give it a go. I didnt wait either, i got a gnexus. ;)

In others news, real life hasnt been very nice to us, so been preoccupied with it n not worked on anything lately.

Everything alright dude? Surviving?

I have been wanting to play around with this build... and try to get this working.... but I don't have a backup phone, no money for replacement if i brick mine, and nobody wants to donate. But I did however put in a request with Santa clause for a new phone.... so maybe I can help get this rolling next year.
Don't know nearly as much as u.... but I been researching here and there for weeks. Not willing to risk bricking my only phone though.

I hope everything is okay in your world. This time of year tends to be hard for a lot of people, regardless if your comments pertain to that or not.

Keep your head up PG. We are all here for you. You know if you ever needed anything you can just ask. At the end of the day and aside from this forum, we are still people and we need to be kind to one another. :)

after reading this i kinda feel bad for constantly sending you 'HELLLLLP' pm's LOLOL but yeah man you know you got plenty of love and respect here bro!! lol, well if I didnt I sure as heck wouldnt put up with all the bas shyt would I??? :p

And dont worry about asking for help, sharing knowledge or attempting to help others helps me retain what I learn as well as keeps my mind off shyt I have no control over. If I dont want to help or to preoccupied with RL I simply dont reply or take forever too. ;)
 
Ok. I need help here. I got CM 6.0.1.1 And I flashed both zips. Now when i reboot, the CyanogenMod logo but it never ends. Its just doesnt boot up. I know its just an alpha (pre-alpha even) but i'm so anxious to see what it looks and feels on my phone :) So can someone give me a solution to this?

Yea that happens to me too. What I do is right after I finish installing I pull battery and boot into recovery and wipe dalvik. Works every time.

Thanks, did that and it worked :D but now i cant get passed the welcome screen :( it wouldnt hurt to ask for a solution on that would it?
 
well it looks like people are running this badass rom... any changes to this that would make it run OK? asking cause i wanna know if i can run and use it..is it that far yet..

Umm.. if it's installed correctly (clean install = wipe data, cache, dalvik etc..), it should work. I remember it took longer to boot than other ROMS like number two #2, but it eventually booted to the welcome screen.

I don't have CM 10 Esteem screenshots but I have CM 9 Esteem shots on my homepage.

Feel free to check it out. CM9 & 10 look so awesome on Esteem.

well i guess my wait for this rom is at a end....damit PG i was really wanting to try this out...but i know you got more then just this you have to deal with....guess i'ma go over to the galaxy s3 forum and check out what they got to offer will be getting this phone...i will have a lg esteem up for sale if anyone is interested i have paypal and i will ship....
