Anyway, all kidding aside. I am amazed at the time, dedication and devotion shown by those like PG, Joneidy, Nuttmeg, Reppard, Sammyz and many more that I could list, including those that are no longer around or just lurk; and you know who you are but OMG, these folks have given me the opportunity to learn so much but in the end, I leave it up to them to decide what to do, how long it'll take and I've never asked why or how much longer as a sign of respect.
The reason for that is because of my IT background. I understand the quick, quick, quick, must have it done now personality and I so appreciate those that have a quiet understanding of what my processes are that ultimately deliver to them what they expected.

Ahhh, I feel much better.

trust me, we all wish we could just whip stuff out n move on to the next project.... but it doesnt always work out that way lol

Right, how could you explain this to people? Maybe tell them to consider algebra class, and -- if they took a foreign language -- that foreign language class, put that all together and try to use a mathematical modality with a foreign language modality to make a small piece of hardware do things that you want it to do with limited support. Then they can being to understand the problems faced by devs.

I sofa king agree. Wish i could just whip my stuff out too.... but that kinda isht can get a man arrested

This is the all things root forum; not the general forum. If people see a word they do not understand then they would do well to *look it up* or ask. It is not our fault or the op's fault if people don't know what they are doing or reading.

I can just imagine how well this would go over if the people went to a conference on quantum physics and complained because they didn't get the vocabulary and they were under the impression that a speaker meant that quantum foam is like soap suds.

It is the user's responsibility, as a user, to read and understand --ultimately.

Sorry so late with a response, but this is where we come to learn about CM10 and I think we are all excited for it! I see it more like a class...where we can ask questions if needed. Most of you are pretty nice and welcome to that! I already have about 20 tabs open trying to learn a fix for another phone...please don't make me open one for Google. :)
 
The goal is to reach the finish line or at least to a place that everything is accomplished ... no rush , no worries .

I try to post in a way most can understand most of the time. On certain questions tho its almost impossible to explain in detail so all can understand. I tend to leave those discussions in irc tho. ;)

No real process to report. :(

I think you are usually good with that but I understand any time a dev gets carried away with jargon while being frustrated by a problem lol I just get defensive when people are rude :( If your IRC channel and whatnot is on your wiki I'll find it otherwise please post it. :)
 
I can just see it when its finished its just gonna be a PlayfulGod post that just says "**** yeah" with the link at the bottom and that's it lol
 
So im new to all of this (found out about this yesterday) and I think its amazing!! Since this isnt yet reay for daily use, I was wondering what rom/kernerl you guys are using until this one is reelased. I was lurking in other parts of the forums and saw a couple but I wanted your opinions.. I just realized that this may not be the best place to put this but nonetheless.. and is there any way I can help get this made?:confused:

Rom Number Two is the best rom at the moment and it comes with a great kernel.
The developer also made a theme for it that looks like ICS. Links to both below.
