After trying to flash custom rom on phone, phone stuck in ram dump mode. I have tried taking the battery out, holding the camera volume and power button but nothing happens. Is this something that can be fixed or have I ruined my phone? Transform Ultra! Thanks Bro!

Got a pretty cool Transformer theme, blues a little dark but it looks nice. And the 3g is tweeked up a little bit I guess. Where I usually don't get a signal, yesterday was on the way home from a run to Daytona n was talking to my wife, never lost my signal once. Where I usually don't get signal I get one now.

Reset it, power off the phone and take the battery out. Then press the power button for 30 seconds to make sure the phone is off completely. Then put the battery back in.
Hold the "volume Down" button down for 3 seconds and then "WITHOUT" letting go of the volume down button i then want you to hold down the power "UNTIL" the phone powers on. Then release the power button but keep holding the volume down button untill you enter recovery mode. heres a video if you still need help

After trying your method, the phone goes straight into RAM dump Mode. No samsung logo or anything. The indicator light also comes on red and blue.

Not sure what the hell happen there........ Looks like you'll have to Odin it back to life. Hopefully it didnt fully ramp dump it or your gonna have to send it to samsung to get it repaired. Did you follow the instructions correctly?

I did that also, fortunately I snatched the battery and saved it. SCARY!
To clarify, not using your method desribed above. It was my own fault, tried to go into CWM while restoring or something and accidentally held the camera button. Watch that button people, easy to overlook after 10 CWM recovery resets or so.

So I just loaded this beast onto my TU and so far i am very pleased by its performance. Had to give up my paid FTL Launcher but it's ok. The ROM is light-weight and insanely responsive unlike the stock gingerbread 2.3.4 i was running. right now im calibrating the battery but after that i'm hoping to open this thing up and see what it can do. a few things tho, i thought it came overclocked but i noticed that it has a overclock-able kernel so ill be playing with that. i also noticed that the weather widget is was built in. is that a thing with Go Launcher? my only other real issue is believe it or not, the lack of a smple calculator maybe with a tip function but you can download one easily i guess. I can't believe i spent so long debating over flashing a custom rom. in any case keep up the good work and keep being awesome!

No the widget is separate from go launcher and will be removed in the future.Theres a flashable.zip in the OP for a calculator and clock app.

that's what i would of assumed but it doesn't show that feature....it shows debugging and whatnot but idk...i actually never did the factory reset after i flashed...could that be a problem?

EDIT: nevermind, after i did a factory reset it showed up.

Hey guys I'll be going on vacation tomorrow in Jamaica for 2 whole weeks:D so i wont be looking at the forums a lot, if you have any questions regarding the ROM or bugs please still post them in the thread i'll read them when i get back. Mavrickmeercat will still be around so he will answer some of the your questions as well.

Will this ROM work on the ZTE Warp? Really looks nice.

No absolutely not.. transform ultra only.

We are working on porting our rom for the warp though.. its taking a while because we are using a few testers. Chevanlol360 & i dont actually have a Warp. Progression would be alot faster if one of us had one.

Thanks for the quick reply. The Warp dudes will surely love this ROM.

ok. I downloaded the ROM. It is smooth and beautiful. Quick and responsive. One issue I am having or question. If I go to settings/ about phone it shows the model # as being sph-m930BST. I am on the Sprint network. Next if I go to settings/about phone/status everything is good but the network shows as unknown. Is this normal? Am I on Boost or Sprint with this ROM? As for now, I did a custom recovery until i know for sure. Maybe just nervous cause this is the first ROM on this phone for me.

The rom is for boost only.. we don't have a sprint version yet because both chevan and I are both boost users. cant test what you dont have....
we do want to port it for sprint but not sure when that will be. I think chevan told me that he had some sprint testers but I'm not in direct contact with them so idk how far he got with that.

i'm curious as to your results though. So your 3g and everything worked? it just said unknown network?

Everything I tested was working just fine. It booted up as normal. The rom was working. Although I did not test the actual network, I did have my wife call my number and the call went through just fine. Signal was a little weak but so is the Sprint signal. I can further test this ROM if you would like. Just let me know what I needs to tested. It is a work phone so if I brick it, I get a new one or replacement for free (to me).

I have a sprint transform that was flashed to boost and I didn't even think about them being different networks but I used roms on it made for the boost model just fine. Don't know if that info may help or not.

OK so I re-ROMed for test purposes. I have screenshots of both ROMs (just don't know how to upload them for you to see). Everything seems to be working. Google Play store is connected, 3G icon is in blue, signal strength is in blue. Press the mobile web icon and it takes me to boost mobile site (instead of Sprint). I will test for a couple of days and let you know. Thanks to ChickenMonkee for the insight.

@ mavrikmeercat I have questions on the programming of this ROM (or any ROM) but I don't want to do it here. Is there anyway to do it in private?

As far as the network showing unknown, don't worry about it. I'm with boost and my network says unknown too. My network works great and is fully tested by me. By tested i mean well used. Gps also works great. Also watch out for force closes. only few of us got them ( me included ) but it's annoying for the ones who did. Let us know if you experience them. :smokingsomb:

I installed this rom a week ago and for some reason i never considered the boost vs sprint thing. i'm going thru sprint and saw the boost info in the "about phone" and for some reason didn't think anything of it. the phone runs as good as i guess it's supposed to. like i said previously it's highly responsive save for the 2.3.4 GB screen issue that's been plaguing us. wifi and 3G and GPS etc all work fine. i honestly wouldn't of thought anything of it had i not read the last couple of posts. i guess my question would be how is this gonna affect my plan with sprint? does anyone know if itll show up as the phone i purchased or will it have a boost footprint on it?
