Root dual boot iOS 4?

I do not personally own an EVO, but I believe it has a different (larger) resolution than the iPhone does. Therefore wouldn't all iPhone apps (which are all written for the iPhone resolution) work (or perhaps just look) like crap on the larger display of the EVO?

Yeah, the Evo screen is much much bigger. That is something that I never considered as I had seen when you blow up pictures on higher resolutions that they tend to come out kinda pixley...lol

meh, still don't see the point...

lol oh come on, last I checked the AppStore had a larger amount of apps than our Market does. You never looked at a friend's iPhone and lust over the cool game/app they had??

games, maybe. apps, no. Last year when I got my Evo, there was a clear deficiency on the Google Market side. Not anymore. These days whenever I see a useful app on an iPhone, the Android equivalent is there. Not an app that does something similar; I mean same company, same app, same features.

Android is still coming up short on games. But give it more time. Android has the advantage right now in terms of developer interest.

Wow, I hadn't really noticed. I knew that we had variants but I didn't know that we had more functional apps than they did. I guess where I draw that from is a biased Apple commercial showing a pie chart and Apple having a larger app base than Android which probably came from over a year ago.

Either way, I love the games too and my friends are constantly showing me new games they get. The Android doesn't have them, has cheap knock-offs, or they don't come til after a while. I guess that's what ultimately separates the two operating systems is that iOS apps are more for fun and Android's are for the advanced user. Call me immature or inexperienced but I like to have the games too which is more or less what I meant by apps. :p I gotta get this whole thing down that there's a difference between apps and games. I'll have to look at an unbiased pie chart on the amount of apps/games/etc. each has from recently as my initial thought may be inaccurate.

It would be so nice to have a true working flashplayer and itunes on the same phone. But why stop there lets just put windows 7.5 on it two. O and when you put android on ios flash does not work along with many other must have apps of my choice... found this out the hard way. Also running android on iphone kills your baterie way to fast

I found this thread because I want to do just that- boot iApps on an Android.
As far as why someone would want to do this;
I am a pilot/flight instructor and there are oodles of iApps for charts, approach plates, flight planners, etc that just aren't available at all for android or windows or anything.
Bummer because they replace alot of paper in the cockpit.
I am an avid Android user and loath the non-customization that comes with iOS.
Want to buy an Android tab for the cockpit, but it wont run anything I need in there. Sooooo.....iOS apps ported(or dual boot or whatever) to Android? PLEASE

Probably not going to happen. One of the issues is access to code. Apple will not release it. And by agreeing to the Licence agreement you promise no to reverse engineer the software for apple and most proprietary apps

I've heard of android on Apple devices. Just need to jailbreak it, root it. I'm not versed on that subject at all. Sorry man. :(
